this is my first time writing a review on amazon, and it is because this cream RUINED MY SKIN. this cream doesnt even have a description written on it...like..what..?I have an oily T-zone with acne and sensitive skin that goes easily red. I bought this cream to reduce my acne and pores. I used for four days and since the first day i used it, my skin got red. I thought it was going to be ok because its only the first time using it and i trusted reviews but few days later, my skin got PILLED OFF and its SO freaking DRY from the INSIDE. I cannot even move my eyebrows or mouth to make a facial expression cuz i can just feel that my face will go all wrinkly if i do. Im trying to retreat my skin with anything i have but its not working... I AM SO MAD. My skin used to be soft and mochimochi but now its so rough and stretchy. Im just so upset and i am going to return this horrible cream. DO NOT BUY THIS CREAM IF U HAVE SIMILAR SKINTYPE TO ME.

I've been struggling with acne since I was 14 (currently 25). I have this really bad habit of picking at my face as well, which doesn't help as well. I've tried multiple medications with salicylic acid or other common ingredients to treat acne but it never worked. I also tried cetaphil as a cleanser but it was too mild for my breakouts and never resolved the issue. I work at a clinic as a research assistant and I overheard the doctor talking about how she prescribed a patient a normal acne medication and 4 weeks later the patient had very smooth skin. She asked if the patient used the medication and they said no, they tried a treatment with tea tree oil and witch hazel and it worked, so I started looking up different ones on Amazon and this one had great reviews, so I bought it. At first, I only applied to my entire face because I read some of the questions on Amazon and it said you could apply it to the whole face. My face turned bright red and stung a little bit the first time I tried it but the next morning, the redness disappeared and my skin was smooth and with far less pimples than the night before, or significantly reduced bumps. I emailed Tim, the founder, and he was really helpful in giving me pointers on how to use it. So I started to apply to only the affected areas and that worked a lot better. I've been using it for about a month now and it was worked wonders for me! I no longer have those pesky breakouts, and I apply as needed. Sometimes, depending on what I eat or my stress levels, bumps start to come out here and there, so I apply both in the morning and at night and it reduces the bump and sometimes even makes it disappear over night. When I forget to put it on, especially during the day, I notice a significant difference in the number of bumps that appear in my skin. My skin usually gets very oily during the day. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable acne cream that significantly reduces regular pimples and black heads on the face. I can't speak for those with severe acne because I only have mild/medium breakouts that are often induced by stress or by what I eat, but if you're someone with acne that's not so severe but just annoying, this is the product for you! If you have sensitive skin, I would try starting with a small amount in the affected area, and then work your way up if it's not enough so your skin isn't so irritated. You may experience a little bit of dryness, but this is a good sign! Nothing a little moisturizer can't fix, and then it gets smoother after you use it for a while and your skin is used to it. Seriously, a great product with natural ingredients. I love it! Tim is also really great and helpful with any questions or concerns you have, so it's wonderful to have a founder that cares about each and every one of his customers!

This is maybe my 2nd review ever on Amazon, but I felt compelled to leave one here because of the results I've seen so far. I am a 29 year old male who has suffered from persistent acne since I was a teenager. This includes zits, intense cystic acne, and everything in between. I have tried many many different acne products over the last 15 years, but I've never had anything more than mediocre results with anything. I have very oily skin and live in a fairly humid climate, and I've found over the years that nothing really seems to effectively dry out my skin and help keep it free of oil. Many of the other acne medications warn of overdrying or burning your skin and try to compensate by using moisturizers, which is a problem that I never had. One of the best weeks my acne has ever had was when I was in Colorado for a week and and dry air was actually able to dry out my facial skin to the point of needing moisturizer. Long story short, none of the other products or advice that I've ever tried has been good enough to give me consistent long-term results.

I was skeptical that this product didn't have a lot of reviews and seemed to be fairly new, but I couldn't resist trying something that said it had all of the ingredients I was trying to use in a multitude of other products - Tea Tree Oil, Benzoyl peroxide, Witch Hazel, etc. I figured it was too good to be true, but I ordered it anyway. I've now been using it for 2 weeks and my skin is doing really well. My acne is fading, I've only gotten 1 new small zit, and my wife has been complimenting my skin. I noticed by the 2nd day of use that my face was dry and firm and will stay that way all day. I have not found anything else that could keep my skin dry and oil-free the way this can.

If you have persistent adult acne due to naturally oily skin, I would urge you to give this a try. However, if you have sensitive skin and have had other things irritate your acne and make it worse, be warned that this stuff seems to be pretty intense since it's the only thing that's ever been able to dry out my face. I hope this helps more people the way it has helped me, and I will update my review if anything changes a couple months down the road. I hope this product/company will stay around for the long-term because I am finally hopeful that I have discovered a real solution!

I got this product last Friday and was stoked to start seeing results.. the first couple of days I put it on prior to my make up and I could feel my skin tingling and getting tighter. I could tell it started to dry some of my acne so I continued to use but tried to only put it on select areas. Over the next couple of days my face started itching and I couldn't wait to get home to wash off. My skin has a rash consistency and turned red. There must be an ingredient my skin doesn't agree with. Will try again once my skin heals less frequently as I do believe the product will work but need to not use everyday.

I’ve struggled with my skin since I was 13 years old. Tried everything from birth control, Accutane, antibiotics, spirolactone, expensive skincare lines, chemical peels, etc. This cream will dry everything up, like it’s meant to. Side effects are skin peeling, for sure. Maybe your skin adjusts, I’ve been doing it on and off for about 2 weeks. You’ll probably see some redness and it’s not great for sensitive skin. But if you’ve been through the ringer with skincare, this is nothing new. Oh, and it will bleach your pillowcases and bedsheets. Which is completely normal, because that is what benzoyl peroxide does. I only gave it 4 stars because it’s extremely drying. Otherwise, it kills breakouts. Worth a try.

P.S. invest in a good night cream and chemical exfoliant, like an AHA/BHA cream. you’ll want to get rid of the dead skin and keep moistured when the cream does its job.
