Pentair 522104 Screenlogic2 Interface & Wireless Connection Kit
From the Manufacturer
Amazon Echo and other devices can now take advantage of the ScreenLogic skill. Verbally interact with Alexa and the IntelliTouch or EasyTouch system, to request information from your pool such as temperature, pH or ORP level, and other various pool and spa functions. The above ScreenLogic Interface Kits (520500 and 520502) require a 4-wire, 22-gauge wiring connection from the IntelliTouch or EasyTouch Controller Load Center COM port to the protocol adapter within the home. The ScreenLogic2 Interface Wireless Connection Kit P/N 521964) can be used to eliminate the need to run this wire where impossible or impractical to do so.

The ScreenLogic system was cheaper and I decided to try it. The antenna installation was easy since I had one on my old system. I used the same wire and just had to change the connector that plugs into the antenna circuit board (the colors were opposite on the old antenna). Took 10-15 minutes at the most.
Now for the inside work. I used a YouTube video (one that has a part 1 and 2, you’ll find it). It was very easy to hook up the system to my router. 10 minutes at the most.
I downloaded the app and it discovered the ScreenLogic system immediately and that was it!
This system works great for us, and I had it installed in less than 30 minutes. My ancient remote was fine and I wouldn’t purchase this product if it didn’t fail. But if you need a remote (your iPhone in this case), or just want to be able to control your pool from anywhere, I’d highly recommend this product.
The indoor white square box and antenna look so out of place next to the other internet/cable boxes.
Other than that, it was very easy to install for an experienced DIYer. I was fortunate enough to already have the outside antenna installed for use with an old school remote control. (The home I just moved into was a model home with all the goodies installed) well not alllll the goodies-I had to install this, better control unit that can utilize the iphone app. Anyways, I unscrewed the old antenna enclosure that looks like it is giving everyone the middle finger and installed the oval shaped plastic enclosure you see in the picture. The new computer card would have easily slipped right into place of the old enclosure but it had two years of florida sun beating on it and it showed...also-did I mention it looks like it is giving the finger? In my case I did not have to use the 10-20 feet of 4 wire cable that you see wounded up in a circle in the picture. I used the ethernet blue cable that was already installed. I simply unscrewed the wires from the old computer card and screwed in the wires onto the new card. I will say I had two wires twisted together for each hole. The last install used all 8 wires that are normally found in an Ethernet wire. That wasnt an issue.
The inside install is straight forward if you read the instructions. There is NO need to drill a hole in the wall to run wires to your router, etc. Some reviews state such-total BS! The whole idea is to use wifi signals to communicate between the router and the outdoor Pentair smart boxes.
Once everything is installed the actual set up of the app and the screenlogic is pretty easy for someone used to setting up simple wifi connections.
Good luck!
BTW as some have stated-this unit is more likely worth about 50-75 bucks. almost 400? give me a break.
Three stars for unattractive units with little engineering expertise utilized in manufacturing of said unit.

The distance between our outside equipment and inside router location is only about 60'. We use mostly an iPad or iPhones to run the app but it works fine from my PC laptop also. We almost never use the easy touch wireless remote that came with the intelliTouch panel since we got this. That remote is so slow to connect and not near as easy to use as the screen logic app.
I would say that if you can get the wireless distance down to less than 100' you just have to buy this thing. I can't imagine having a pool without it.
