The current model has excellent build quality and the side grips textured like it always needed. Achieves a much more stable grip. It also keeps you from accidentally pressing the side buttons as was frequent on the previous models. The improved top shell now uses magnets to stay in place. Feels great.
The previous models took way too much pressure to actuate the right and left buttons. This was asking for RSI trouble. This new model takes very little effort to click and is more in line with the rest of their gaming mice. Speaking of RSI, the mouse being ambidextrous is fantastic to switch off during the day.
The tracking is fantastic for a laser mouse. I disabled the acceleration entirely and use it at full DPI. If you use high DPI monitors (4K or many multiple monitors) you'll need more DPI to get your mouse around comfortably. Mouse acceleration both hardware and software is the devil, get rid of it and just use higher DPI. It still accurate on small precision work without any profile changes. Mouse acceleration triggers too often when you do not wish it so to be useful both spanning monitors and on precision work with the same profile. If you're on a single 1080p tile the DPI is overkill and you'll probably want to use 4000 at the very most. At reduced DPI you'll definitely want the mouse's frequency increased to the max for best results.
On to the wireless aspect: I don't care, don't use it. I just want a small mouse that's awesome. The cord is so light it is almost like it is cordless when it is plugged in anyways. It only matters if you're some distance from your machine. That said... I am somewhat surprised that they haven't ditched Bluetooth and done a custom low power RF protocol after even the first version. Works a lot better and less power consumption in general. Who aces if it requires a dongle. If you plan on buying this mouse solely for the wireless aspect and want it at full DPI you might be disappointed. At lower DPI it performs fine.
One hell of a nice mouse.
Pros -
Quick install
Very nice quality cord for wired operation that has one of the best mouse side connections I've ever seen (this can't be understated, it is very very nice and the design is 100% form&function)
Solid construction for all components
Easy customization for all aspects of operation including lighting
Comes WITH batteries!!
Great documentation
Sleek and sexy design
Cons -
For someone with bigger hands the accessory buttons on the sides get bumped a little to easily
The mouse is a little "small" for my hand size overall but it is marketed and designed as a compact travel mouse so there is that...
Overall I freakin love this thing and plan on using it as my only mouse for my Alienware laptop.
I love Razer products, especially the Razer green LED's, I have my keyboard, and firefly both set to green, and now the mouse is set to green as well...and although the Razer logo doesnt light up on this Orochi mouse, both sides of the scroll wheel do light up and it looks great. The problem I have with this mouse is where the connection with this supplied usb cable is made. The connector protrudes past the bottom of the mouse, even past the feet...so this thing drags on my $60 firefly mouse pad, and does nothing but want to scratch the surface of my very nice mouse pad! I cant imagine this even working in wired mode on a cloth mouse pad. I don't know if this is just MY unit, and that the cable is just somehow a manufacture error, or if the entire line of these just has a very poorly designed cable that you need for using it in WIRED mode!
I do not have bluetooth on my gaming pc, I built it myself and did not install a wifi card or a bluetooth card, or adapter. I will be heading to the store tonight to spend some more money on getting something I really didnt need, because now with this mouse it's a MUST to use bluetooth connection or it is going to scratch up my very nice Razer Firefly gaming mouse pad (I love this mouse pad lol)
again, I do not know if it's just the one I ordered or if it's the all of them, but this seems like a horribly designed connection! Highly disappointing!
UPDATED 11/19/2016 I purchased this mouse back on Aug 8, 2016...and it's not starting to operate very erratic, it skips and jumps around and sometimes does not even move the cursor when I move the mouse on the mouse pad. It's not the mouse pad, as i have several types all with different surfaces and it's doing the same thing on all of them. I'm never buying another Razer Mouse, they just do not seem to hold up at all. The problems I had when i first purchased the mouse were almost enough to not want another Razer product, but this issue now has pushed me over the edge...This is not the first Razer mouse, or product I've used by Razer...I loved the Razer Green color that I could set on my keyboard, mouse and mouse pad...but their products just do not hold up well.

Pros:
- Modo doble. Alámbrico e inalámbrico (vía bluetooth, no incluye receptor).
Contras:
