As a parent and former pre-K teacher, I don't hold most children's board games in very high regard. I love playing this game with my four year old great nephew! We both have so much fun working together to get the owls home before the sun comes up! I love the collaborative nature of the game along with the problem solving. I would rather stick needles in my eyes than play CandyLand. When nephew wants another round of Hoot Owl Hoot, I am all in! In fact, I just ordered two more games from this same company! Super great product!!

I love that it is a cooperative game. No one loses, the owls win! The game pieces are cardboard. They would have been adorable as three dimensional baby owls, so I can’t give it a 5 star.

Our first introduction to co-op games was Outfoxed with our 4 year old. I really like these types of games. We got this so that our 2 year old could start board games and it was great. Nothing too serious with a 2yo, but enough to get him started on games. The difficulty can be ramped up for older kids which is great. Highly recommended for young kids and intro to co-op games.

Cute game, cute story line, doesn’t take long to play. Can easily adjust the rules as appropriate to the age of the player. No reading required, only some counting and color matching. I have it to our almost-four-year-old granddaughter and she wanted to play two games in a row and then again the next day.

Our little spent time playing the game....good exercise for eyes, focused on colors and counting and it held his interest for a good 20 minutes. As he gets older, it will become a real favorite.

All of the games for young children from Peaceable Kingdom are Cooperative games….every time you play you get a different outcome. There are no individual winners. You all work together as a team to beat the game! Love playing these games with our grandchildren. Also great gifts.

    This is a fantastic game!
Got it for my 3y/o daughter and she absolutely loves it, and so do the rest of us! Our 7 y/o likes playing it, as did her school friend, and us adults enjoy it as well.
I really love that you have to work together, it's a great aspect of the game and quite unique. We've lost more times than we've won, but it's still great fun, and just makes you want to play again!
Great quality, and plastic free, which is brilliant.
    Highly recommended!

Age Appropriate, teaches turn-taking, simple enough for a 3 year old child. My great nephew who is 38.5 months was able to learn which cards to move such as the sun or the coloured cards.
