As to the packaging, it came with a large gaping hole in the top of the box, and the axle was sticking out the side. Yet, the only damage inside was a small ding in the metal edging near the end of the bottom board. I just hit it back in shape.
Assembly was not difficult, once I called the company to understand which bolts were # 8, etc. The number after was the millimeter length, which I suspected, but called just to verify. I counted the bolts in the package and had the right number of bolts, but not the right number of each. However, it was not a problem because the longer bolts still worked where a shorter one was supposed to go. The cart went together very easily. I used a punch to line up one of the holes that didn’t want to match the hole in the metal bracing. That squared up the rest of the holes. It took me a little over an hour to assemble.
My only complaint about this cart is that the front bar that keeps the sides from spreading sometimes prevents the mulch from sliding out. When I swing it off the clip, the bar hits the ground, and I have bent it a few times. Fortunately, it is relatively thin metal, so it is easy to bend back in shape. It would be better if the cart had some mechanism to hold it upright, so it doesn’t hit the ground.
Would I buy this cart again? Definitely, yes!
