Excellent Touring/Commuter tire! These are stupid light, the most supple ride in their class, with fantastic puncture resistance and fast due to very low rolling resistance in casing and compound! I have owned almost every top tire made, and these are my favorite overall. If Pure puncture resistance is your goal, try Specialized All Condition Armadillo Elites, they are not as light, nor do they ride nice, or as fast as they have very stiff casings. They also only come up to size 32c no larger. My next favorite tire would be Vittoria Randonneur Pro, then Schwalbe Marathon Supremes, as they both roll fairly fast(though not as fast), they ride fairly smooth(though not as smooth), they are light(though not as light), Schwalbe has the newest tech in puncture resistance Vectran, but I have punctured those, and have not punctured my Vittoria Randonneur Pros or Voyager Hypers at all! I belive some flats are tech based, but many have more to do with time and chance and a persons riding style or habbits! I run the 35c version of the Hypers and they are on H Plus Son rims (23mm external width/17mm internal width) and they measure 37.25mm at full pressure on this wheel! So I would say they have very accurate sizing, as these tires are designed to be run on touring/commuter rims which usually are in this size category or even larger! There are other good tires, but not in this size, quality, style ect... Continentals too heavy and not fast enough, Bonti-Trek Good but far heavier and very undersized.

Rated: 700X32c
Bike: 2012 Salsa Casserole
Purchased: Aug. 2014
Mileage So Far: approx. 1500-2000 miles
Use:
- Several gravel-grinding/road bike tours (about 600-700 miles total packing about 40lbs. w/ 220lb. rider)
- Club road rides

Pro:
- super fast! Compared to Schwalbe Marathon & Plus & Pasela GT’s I am noticeably faster, making it fun to lead the pack on club road rides and knowing I’m the most comfortable
- Easy to un/install
- Reflective rim
- Handle well on gravel
- Only 1 flat
- Wear evenly

Con:
- quite a few pits and large gashes in tire
- rate tire life at 2500-3000 miles with my riding style
- Center tire tread pattern is shallow and almost gone one one tire after miles noted above

I’d give them 5 stars if I’d had more experience with different tires to compare, but overall I wouldn’t think twice about purchasing again.

I bought these tires to install in my Hybrid, the Globe Work 1. My bike came with rather fat 700x38 tires. They were very heavy, not particularly comfortable and they wore down after 2 winters. Enter Vittoria. I bought these in 700x32 with flexible bead. First of all, they are so much lighter, I shaved about 2 lbs of weight from tires alone. Also, they are very easy to install since they are not held in place by a rigid steel wire bead. Secondly, the rolling resistance is so much less that I find myself riding a little faster than usual - They really are THAT good. Traction is very good as well, even in rainy weather. The reflective strips are very cool and can be seen easily from far away.

Last but not least, I was afraid they wouldn't handle bumps very well since these are narrower than my original tires, but they actually absorb the nasty bumps of the road pretty well, even when inflated near the maximum (90 PSI).

All in all - if you have a city bike and you need something far better than the mediocre tires most city bikes come with - the Vittorias are a great choice.

These are absolutely NOT fit to be touring tires, regardless of what Vittoria named them.
These are fat road bike tires, paper-thin with very low durability. You will regret trying to tour with them, as I did...

Rolling resistance is said to be very low for these tires, that's why I bought them. In practice, the resistance seemed low only when they were jacked up to 80+ PSI. Otherwise, not much faster. The major difference was durability - these suck!! Durability tests for these tires showed they were roughly half the puncture resistance as other options. In practice, that 2x difference in puncture resistance is HUGE!! These have absolutely no puncture protection beyond the paper-thin rubber. I had 3 punctures in 3 weeks, the last one completely destroying the tire. Seriously, you don't want to go anywhere far from home on these things!

Timeline of failure:
- Bought these for a 6-week loaded bike tour in Germany/France (with exceptionally good road quality).
- Before I left, I rode around town a couple weeks, during which I had one flat from tiny bits of glass.
- I added tube liner to the rear tire, which now made the tire as heavy as competing options.
- First week on tour, one puncture from a thorn, and I noticed numerous gouges in the rubber simply from going through sand / gravel on the road.
- Second week - complete failure! - a tiny piece of chipseal (rock found in virtually all asphalt) sliced a 4mm gash clean through the rubber, blowing out the front tire (which had no liner). Even with a liner, the gash was big enough that any tube would hemorrhage out.
- Replaced them with Schwalbe Marathons (which I was super lucky to find nearby). The Marathons (which have a built-in puncture protection layer) were vastly stronger, and lasted through many more weeks of rough conditions without any issues whatsoever. The Voyagers could never have survived - not a chance!!

Recommendation:
Schwalbe Marathons are somewhat heavy and probably a bit sluggish (if you don't keep them well-inflated) but they are bomb-proof. I'm not absolutely recommending them, perhaps there are other better options, but I am absolutely recommending you stay far far away from the Voyagers.

I commute 60 miles a day. These things flat super often. I even paired them with these strangely-shaped already-slimed michelin tubes. I pull the <whatever> out of the tire and the tubes eventually seal. That's great, but these things flat more than any other tire I've used. Come on! If you want to avoid flats then get their randonneur line. Or really, just get the schwalbe marathons (too bad they're so ugly...)

4.0 out of 5 stars 700c 32mm幅で重量は385gでした。
Reviewed in Japan on October 23, 2016

5.0 out of 5 stars Very pleased with this tyre
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on May 17, 2015
Very pleased with this tyre..Ticks all the boxes..inflate up to 80psi. For some reason I found I needed three hands as opposed to two to fit the tyre.So for the very first time in my life I used a cable tie to help the process..And with the tie in place it took seconds to pull on.
Not the cheapest product but hopefully will last a long time and stand up to the hedge cutters thorns which are on our local country roads.

5.0 out of 5 stars Stabiler Reifen mit geringem Rollwiderstand
Reviewed in Germany on May 15, 2014

Fazit: Klasse Reifen!
