    69 customers mention41 positive28 negative

Customers are mixed about the stability of the camera tripod. Some mention that the structures providing a stable hold for a camera are strong, and the magnetic tips are strong. It holds the weight of the phone well, and even as a simple desktop tripod. However, others say that it wobbles a little and might make the picture. Fairly neat, but not perfect in its design.
    4 Stars
Fairly neat, but not perfect in its design.
I really thought it would be a little bigger or maybe that the legs would be a little longer to be able to wrap around larger things. I am not exactly dis-pleased with its size, but after playing around with it I certainly would have preferred just a little bit longer legs.I also expected rare earth magnet strength, these may be rare earth but if they are they are on the smallish size, and don’t grip “super” well. They do grip ok-ishly, and I can see how they will be useful even at this strength, but I would not put this on the hood of my car with a nice camera on it and go for a drive on the freeway,. It’s not strong enough for that which is a shame cause I believe they could have achieved that if they went just a wee bit larger on magnet sizes. Finally, the quick release plate is fairly sturdy and well-constructed. But again I find a small somewhat annoying fault in the design, while attaching the quick release plate to the tripod is quick, attaching your camera to the quick release plate itself is not, it requires a coin or tool to do and cannot be done with just fingers (not with any assurance that it won’t self-loosen). In some cases this will be fine, just leave the quick release plate on the camera permanently, but if you have a camera that’s smaller than the quick release plate it will stick out and annoy you in pockets and when holding, and even more of an issue, the quick release plate may block a battery or memory card door from opening as it does on my small camera, so now I have to make sure I carry a coin with me in my camera kit, not huge,. But it’s an extra step I’d rather not have to do every time I change out a memory card or battery.Over all I’m keeping it, it’s a tool with its strengths and its faults, but I think for 25$ they could kick the versatility up a notch or two with slightly stronger magnets, and slightly longer legs. The quick release plate,. I understand, it’s a very small plate, there’s not much room there to improve the design without losing sturdiness or making it larger.Photos added with my small, older, Olympus Point n shoot for scale.

5.0 out of 5 stars Kompaktes leichtes preiswertes Universalstativ für Reisen
Reviewed in Germany on August 27, 2015

    Fazit
