Anderson/Judd is rescued and entered into a hospital when his captors have met their fate. He is being treated for malnourishment, abuse (physical and mental) and any ailments he may have had in confinement. Due to the abuse Anderson/Judd has received, it makes him extremely violent. He doesn't know any better. He hasn't had much interaction with people and hasn't been exposed to the outside world. He is lacking alot of things socially. Enter Kloe, the case worker assigned to helping get Anderson/Judd get better so that he can get acclimated into normal society life. Kloe is having problems in her current marriage. Kloe is also holding on to her own deep dark secrets. Kloe's current situations along with her issues and her growing attraction for Anderson start to spiral out of control. When the lines start to blur when Kloe and Anderson start to get closer, things get pulled apart and they get separated. What happens a few years later when Kloe and Anderson find their way back to each other by chance? Both of these characters have issues. Can they both overcome these issues and try and make something work? Kloe and Anderson are wonderful characters- beautifully broken. This story makes you want to root for them individually as well as together. Their blossoming relationship is constantly being threatened. Can these two broken souls find happiness with in each other? This was a rollercoaster of emotions. I wanted to scream, I wanted to cry , I wanted to yell out hallelujah. This was a deliciously dark, sexy, captivating and some what twisted story by the brilliant DH Sidebottom. I was sucked into this book from the beginning. DH Sidebottom's writing is stellar when it comes to capturing the characters emotions while telling a story that you feel you are a part of. This left me with a book hangover and I can't wait to get my hands on the next installment.

Wow what an amazing story by DH Sidebottom. Not that I'm surprised. Her style of writing is amazing. She has a way of making you route for the anti-hero. Judd/Anderson had such a rough life that you can't help but think there is no way he'll recover. But recover, he does. He becomes a strong, no holds barred character. Kloe is a sweet woman who has her own demons, tries to help Judd/Anderson. But there are twists and turns and just when you thought you had it figured out, DH throws you for a loop. I can't wait to see how this story continues in part 2.

This was just everywhere. There was twisted and turns, there was unexpected and crazy stuff happening through out this book. But i loved it. It was dark let me tell you. It will swallow you up into the darkness that is Judd Asher. It will have you craving for more and then some. If you like her writing then you better drop whatever book you are reading and go get this one. You will not regret it. And by the end of it you will crave for the next book to come. I’m glad i read this book! It was so good. I do have to say that it was dark, so if that is not your thing then please do not get this book.

Judd Asher has had a bad life. He knows nothing other than the hell he has been living in for twenty years. He doesn’t know anything and he does;t really talk. So when he is found everything freaks him out. Then he meets Kloe Grant. She calms her in a way and he wants to learn everything he can with her. He feels things that he has never felt before and it;s all because of her. He wants help but he’s hiding the truth from her as well. He will make her pay for leaving him behind, for breaking her promise to him.

Kloe Grant helps people. she helps them live again helps them move forward from their horrible past even though she can;t moe forward from hers. She hides behind a mask so no one can see her pain. When she takes Judd Asher as her case she wants nothing more than to make him better to help him live again and to make sure he never has to go through the pain he has been through but when she has no choice but to leave she is crushed. When he turns up at her door four years later he isn;t the same. he’s dark and mean and yet she still craves him, she still loves him. But she find out secrets he has been hiding and she wants to get back at him. Will they ever heal each other or is all just a game?

Not bad and not good. It was fair enough. There were twists on it but too much of it make you confused. At the beginning was everything good to go but after I knew about Anderson revenge I was like really dude? Her job was in risk because of you and you want to ruin her and she had enough from her past. Than all other messed up things with other characters.

This is not my first book I'm reading for S D and won't be the last one but this book didn't work out for me that much. But yeah that's my opinion, so you go head and read it and enjoy it.

This is one of those books that once you start, you don't put it down till it is finished.
Judd Asher was 4 years old when he was taken from his front Garden, the police finally called off the search after 3 years.

4 years Later Anderson is now an MMA fighter one of the best he needed it to live he hungered for it! fight to the death.

When something Happens he comes face to face with the one women who has haunted his dreams for the last Four years Kloe. He sees his chance to make her pay for the last 4 years for the Broken promise she made to him.

Kloe has been living in London for the last 4 years after she was given no choice but to leave her life, any way Kloe has her own demons from her past Haunting her she had some Nutter who is out to hurt/kill her.

In parts of the book you just want to crawl in the book and Hold both Kloe and Anderson you really feel so much for them.

Dawns knows how to draw you into a book and you do not let go till the end and so Far D H is the only Author that can make me all hot and be needing to change my underwear to crying all in one Chapter. This book makes you feel you feel for Anderson, but you can’t help falling for him you feel for Kloe I connected really well with these Characters, they are so likeable.
It will keep you guessing right until the end with Twists I did not see coming.

Book 2

WOW WOW Chained, I am speechless, I really am this book was amazing.

I didn’t think Dawn would top Caged I was so so wrong.

This book has totally blown my mind it is one of the most gripping stories, I have read this year, both books are.

“What if I don’t find you again? What if you go up, and I go down? What then? What if…”

It is dark and Twisted so many Twists and Turns in this book, I have whip lash. I don’t think I can write this review to do the book justice it deserves it is just WOW!!!!

Kloe and Anderson’s story is just one that is going to stay with me a long time I really connected with Kloe after book 1 I just wanted Kloe and Anderson to get their HEA I will not say if they did or not but what an ending.

I really didn’t see that coming and the twists I really didn’t have a clue and even what I thought was going to happen and who was doing what I was so surprised with it all.

Normally you can tell what is going to happen in some books but this book I never seen any of it coming I never guessed it had me on my toes from the start it is fast paced my heart was racing in some chapters, it was intense.

This book has taken a place in my heart, this book makes you feel…. you feel for Anderson you feel for Kloe they have both been through so much in their lives do they came out better, in the end, well you will have to read to find out.!!!!

I really not going to give any spoilers…. But if you love Dawns books and her words and have read Caged them you must read this... Outstanding and thank you, Dawn, for sharing Kloe and Anderson story with us it is one I will not forget in a hurry.

This book is not for the faint hearted, so prepare for one hell of a crazy ride...

You have to read this one before you read the second half of the story, else you won't know what's going on at all.

Wow---When I first began to read this book, I quite enjoyed getting to know Kloe and Anderson---a wild man known as Judd who had been kept in a dank basement since a child. The more I read, the more I enjoyed the twists and turns that just kept coming and coming. The dark depravity of what Anderson/Judd experienced at the hands of his tormentors for 21 years before being discovered was traumatic, and as a therapist, it was Kloe’s job to help him heal. When Kloe’s husband has an affair that Kloe finds out about, some of her childhood history is revealed and she is hiding some scars of her own. When she rejects the unwanted attention from her boss, he produces a tape of her overstepping the therapist line with the intense connection she feels with Anderson/Judd and is forced into taking another job in another country, leaving Anderson/Judd after promising she’d always be there for him. I did not see some of the twists in this story coming. This was my first dark erotic read, and some of the scenes will be shocking for some. The ending in this book left me heading straight to buy the second, Chained, because I just had to know how their story ended. I would recommend this book for those who love dark, erotic, depraved thrillers. But it is not for the faint of heart.
