True over-ear workout headphones, lower than average sound quality. I just cannot recommend these...and ya no Bluetooth.

True over-ear workout headphones, lower than average sound quality. I just cannot recommend these...and ya no Bluetooth.
I have been searching a true pair of "workout" headphones. I am not a fan of earbuds and do not like the cords around the back of my neck, a common place for the wires. The more I searched, the more I could see this may be a small market I am within. I was looking for a great bass response in an over-ear design. The one caveat was I did not want the standard type of padding on the traditional ear-cup because they just make you sweat more. When I have found these, I thought I had located what I was looking for. The design is great, and they look better in person. There is an impression of quality, and an idea these headphones have been engineered for exactly what I had in mind. However, while I would not consider myself an audiophile, I do expect pretty decent sound from a set of headphones costing roughly $200. Sadly these do not even come close to other pairs I have purchased. The sound is muffled and not clear. The bass is decent, but nothing mind-blowing at all. I would be willing to look past the bass if the mids and highs were there, but the sound quality is just lacking. I have the Monster Isport Freedom, and there is a distinct difference in clarity between the two. Now add in the fact these are still wired and not Bluetooth enabled, and there is a real problem. It should be noted, in all fairness the headphones I received were used even though I had purchased a new pair. I have included the seller feedback I left for them. "The headphones I purchased appear to have been used prior to my receiving them. The packaging was used, and no original seals were present, I have watched many unboxing videos of this item validate the item I received was not brand new. The box looked as if it had been pushed around on the ground with scratching all over the box; there was also no protective sleeve that is seen in every review I have watched. The headphones themselves were just thrown into the containing box and forced closed. It appears as if there was no original factory seal and these may have been a demo unit. Inside the box, it looks like there are slots and plastic moldings intended for the accessories for the headphones. In this case, each accessory was out of the molding, and everything was just thrown inside the box. Someone had also taken the time to change the earcups on the headphones. This is the first time I have encountered this, and I am extremely disappointed. "

First, I would agree with most that the bass on these is over the top. But, that is easily fixed by using the equalizer in your iPhone.

Second, the sound is plenty loud and when you use the equalizer, they are great...for a run. I surely didn't buy these to sit around my house and listen to music. They are sport headphones. I have done an interval workout in them and some calisthenics with no issue. They stay put and sound better as your head heats up and the cups mold to your melon.

I sweat a lot, and I have had no issue yet with the cups not drying overnight. The cord may get finicky later on, but even if it does, it is a standard size so replacement should cost less than a dollar. I am not sure what all of the negative reviews are about. They are expensive. But, I am looking forward to this winter when I can run with music earmuffs.

Watching the commercials of Usain Bolt and Tim Tebow got me fired up about these headphones. When I received them I was excited with just about everything about them, but then I put them in listened to them. The quality of sound is horrible! The sound is muffled! I compared them to a $10 pair I bought from Ross, and they sounded better than the combat souls!! I couldn't believe it! Also, I though they would be the perfect headphones for working out, but thy kept slipping off of my head!! So much for the guarantee to stay on your head! Avoid these headphones if you desire to enjoy sound quality that will give you a pump in the gym! I'm shocked Tim Tebow, Usain Bolt and Ludacris have their names tied to these subpar headphones!

Love these things i work out in them every day and they hold up great. these blow any kinda beats out of the water. simmilar sound quality to beats but they are actully designed to get sweaty in. These are alo far tougher then beats and the over ear design isolates noise better so even when your gym is blaring terrible music, all you can hear are your tunes.
Would not buy if you don't intend to workout in these.

Great fit for your head for working out but after 3 days of having it I returned it. The sound was really bad and bass was the only thing clear. Singers voices sounded muddy like your hearing them from far .

I've had these headphones for a few weeks now and I absolutely love them! They feel great, sound great, look great! I've worn them while doing sprint drills, long runs, running stairs, burpees, pull-ups, push-ups....and they've stayed on. the interchangeable ear piece is great and easy to convert when I'm using the headphones for leisure. I thinking about getting the Bolt editions and the portable speaker.
