I love these pens, they are great for decorating fondant pieces, icing, or cookies. The markers are taste-less but are very bright.
Edit: I bought these over a year ago and they have lasted a long time, I use them mostly for drawing on fondant and they work great. They slowly started drying out over 3ish months ago but I just dipped them into water to hydrate them. I didn't have to buy a new set till about a month ago when my black pen would no longer work. Overall I think this was a great buy! Lasted a lot longer than I thought it would.
Another note: I've had these new markers for about a year and a half and they are still going strong. Before I would take the markers out of the little plastic bag that they come in and have them sitting on my table, after a year they really started drying out. This time I left them in the baggie and always close it (it's like a ziplock baggie) this keeps them from drying out and I haven't had any problems this time around with them starting to dry out at the 1 year mark.

These are such a great buy!
These are great. The colors are vivid! I was a little nervous when I read one review that said the brown in there pack was completely dried out because that was the color I needed the most but none of my colors were dried out. I would say you would want another type of tip on your pens if you needed really fine details. If you are writing or coloring in scenes of characters these are perfect.Another great thing about these is because the tip isn't a 'hard point' instead a soft point like a the pointed paint brush you an use this one fondant you just cut or that dried overnight.I thought originally they were pricey especially because I don't use them much but I'm so happy with this product I'm going to use them every chance I get.

I wanted to write on some cookies decorated with Royal Icing but did not have time to pipe. I had purchased these thinking that they would be a good tool for young children to use to help decorate so decided to try on my cookies. They worked great and left no aftertaste on the cookie. They were smooth and appeared to have adequate ink in them. The colors were good and showed up well. One thing I did notice was that the writing came of on your lips in eating which was pretty humorous.

These edible markers are fantastic. They were delivered on July 22, 2015 and used that week. It is currently the last week of October, and I am using it again. They work as if they are brand new. I wish I had read the reviws for another well-known brand I had purchased at the store-they were junk. I took a picture of the characters I made with royal icing. The markers were used to draw Sally's hair, eyes, nose mouth, and eyebrows; and they were used to color in Snoopy's helmet, eyes, and nose. As you can see, they were as perfectly now, in October, as they did in July when they were delivered. I highly recommend them.
