The Staedtler triplus fineliner 334 has an ergonomic triangular shape for relaxed and easy writing. The fineliner is dry safe which means it can be left uncapped for days without drying up. The water-based ink washes out of many textiles. It has a superfine metal-clad tip and a linewidth of approximately 0.3 mm. The stand-up Staedtler box makes it ideal for school and office use.

I am an elementary art teacher and I purchased the bees to make my lesson, plan, book Brighton, colorful because I lighthouse find point a park. They do just the trick my only small complaint would be not all of them stay in right as smoothly as each one. The colors I like the best are the bright ones the darker not so bold ones I haven’t hoensey not to use as much works really good in fine areas for adult coloring books as an elementary art teacher. I am very protective these of these and I will not let my student use them ha!

These markers work really well for coloring detailed mandala/meditation coloring books. They are very fine tipped and they don’t bleed like other markers I’ve tried. I recommend them for fine, detailed work. If you are coloring large areas, these are not the markers for you because they are too fine and it takes forever to color a large area with them. Also, they work best with light pressure applied, not pushing down on them. They seem to flow the best when the side with the writing is facing up. Turning them to the other sides is good if you want just a fine dot of color in a tiny area. They color lasts pretty long too. I have ordered these a few times already because I like them so much.

I am a stickler about my pens. I use them primarily for creating Zentangle art on small-sized "tiles" so smaller-sized nibs are essential. I used to mainly use Sakura Micron pens in various nib sizes however their color selection is extremely limited and I always prefer working in color. A Zentangling friend recommended these to me, and I am so happy she did!

The 0.3mm line width is perfect for my Zentangling needs...although I wish they made these same pens in various widths as I could also use narrower and wider widths. The pens write nice and smoothly and dry quickly (which is important as I am a lefty and prone to smearing my work). I haven't yet accidentally left the top off of any of my pens for more than a few minutes, but it's good to know that the manufacturer states that they won't dry out if I do.

I didn't even notice the slightly triangular or conical shape of the pens when I ordered them, but that is a nice feature as the shape makes them more comfortable to hold and they don't roll off the table like most of my other pens and markers.

One of my favorite things about this set of 60 pens is the color selection. The nuanced shades of many of these pens are hard to find in other brands. In fact, I own a package of 160 fine liner marker pens and I am much more likely to find the exact color I want in my box of 60 Staedtler marker pens than in my super-sized box that supposedly has more than twice as many colors (unfortunately, many are repeats.)

I could do without the neons in this set plus some of the pastels are barely legible when used to write or draw on white paper. And with an 0.3mm nib size, they really aren't suitable for coloring except for tiny spaces. So I feel like Staedtler could have done a somewhat better job of selecting 60 fantastic colors for this set, and I really hope that they will eventually offer a larger-sized set or an add-on set with additional colors. I would buy additional colors in a heartbeat!

My other complaint about this set of marker pens (and all sets of Staedtler pens/markers that I own) is that they don't include color names or numbers on the barrels of the pens/markers. Plus the caps on the pens don't always closely match the colors of the ink. So it often feels like a crap shoot when I grab an unnamed color from the box while relying on its cap for identification. I think I have talked myself into taping numbers onto each pen barrel and making my own swatch chart for future reference.

Aside from my noted complaints which are minor, I am very pleased with these fine line marker pens and would highly recommend them.

These were recommended in a journaling chat by many of the participants. I decided to try them as my typical colored pencils and colored pens weren’t doing what I needed in my journal and coloring pages. My old pens would bleed through the pages. These do not. These are excellent value for the money spent. I love the colors. They are easy to handle especially if you have any problems with your hands. They write smoothly and unlike others I’ve tried they don’t stop or skip area while writing. I was able to clean them with a Kleenex or paper towel (depending on what I had nearby) very easily. Definitely worth the money and will buy again.
