It's stronger, dries clear, and it's non-toxic. Unlike some glues, ProBond Advanced is non-foaming, so you don't get the kind of expansion many popular glues produce. Use ProBond Advanced on a wide variety of surfaces -- metal, stone, wood, ceramic, plastic and more. ProBond Advanced does not require a wet surface for adhesion. It's paintable, and when it dries, it is translucent. Cleans up easily with water. 100% weatherproof. Depending on what you are gluing, it may be necessary to clamp the item for it to adhere properly. And always let the glue set for at least 24 hours before moving the glued piece.
Highly recommended 👍
I emailed Elmers about the problem and they sent me a free replacement bottle, believing the one I had might be bad. I asked if aluminum was a surface this would bond but got no answer.
After receiving the replacement bottle I repeated my test and got the same result- very weak bond.
I tried gluing two pieces of wood together and had to clamp them together as Probond cures very slowly. The next morning the wood was bonded together very well but any wood glue would have done the same thing much faster.
I really don’t know what this is good for. Epoxy seems to do a much better job.
