(Note: When recording with lavs on the collar, sound WILL come out more chesty. That is not a problem with This device, it is a problem with ALL lavs. It's pretty easy to bring back that treble in post.)
It was cheap but I at least expected it to work for a little while. I have a short project and only one project so I did not want to spend big bucks for a single project but now I guess I will have to.
The one thing that I absolutely hate about this is the fact that the transmitter has both a mic and a headphone ports, yet the freaking mic port is a TRRS connector that will not accept a standard stereo or mono mic. WHY???? The only reason to use a TRRS port is if you only have one port to use for mic/line out, which is not the case here.
Also I have to point out the mic that comes with this sounds really muddy and muffled and doesn't rotate on the clip its mounted to.
