We ordered it and got it Saturday and when we tried to redeem the codes it came with it would not go. Everytime we tried it said it was unable to redeem and to try again later. It shouldnt say that if we bought the item as a whole that includes the codes we bought with it.

Bungie's 2014 blockbuster Destiny was the largest, most successful new IP launch of all time in the Video Game world. As the next year went on, they added all sorts of new content: Raids, weapons, social spaces, multiplayer arenas, the list goes on. With Year 1 of Destiny in the past, Year 2 entered, bringing us with all sorts of sandbox updates, a plethora of new weapons and gear, activities and bounties to claim. All of the kind of content you would expect from a brand new game lies waiting for you in The Taken King Destiny expansion, of which the Legendary includes. Dozens of new missions, a New Raid, multiplayer maps and new subclasses are just some more things you can look forward to playing around with. Why should you buy the Legendary Edition?

Pros:
- Includes: Destiny (base game), Expansion I (Dark Below), Expansion II (House of Wolves), and The Taken King expansion.
- $30 USD (At time of purchase). All of these things separately would be $140 USD if you bought each as they were released (as I did).
- Bonus content you can't get from all the separate items together

I've played Destiny from the start with maybe only a month or so break. I eventually grew tired of it but before I can sack it, Taken King arrived. I agree with many of the crit reviews published and very much disagree with some of the one star reviews. The game right now for $60 is a completely different experience from what was released a year ago and for the money you get hundreds of hours of gameplay to do solo and with a group of friends. (You still need friends for high level play like raids). This is hardly worse than an 4 star score although I haven't gottern through the whole game so far its just bewildering how much better it is. The gameplay, music, everything has been improved. Only thing I didn't like is Ghosts new voice. All I can say is read some of the critic reviews out there (Forbes etc), its just a much better game all around and highly recommend it for new players. It's the best shooter out there hands down. Yes, including COD.

After reading the reviews on here about people saying they bought "Destiny: Legendary Edition" from Amazon brand new, but that it came with codes that were already in use to unlock the expansions and Taken King,and how they had to spend hours on the phone trying to get it fixed, I almost didn't buy it. But I took a chance, and I'm glad I did because I have had absolutely no problems. My game installed fine and the code included in the box worked as well. I'm not sure what was going on with the other reviewers' purchases, but it definitely almost made me not buy the game because of what they were saying.

As for the game, so far it seems to be a really good game and I'm enjoying playing it.

Have you defeated evil today Guardian? Yeah - someone asked me that while stopping to pick up dinner at Chipotle while wearing my Destiny hat. The Taken King moves Destiny in to so many directions that you will be busy for months just trying to do all the things you need to do in order to complete your character(s). If you are new to this game this is a great time to start as you will still go through the original stories with this purchase AND get to take advantage of the additional 'Taken King' download. You do need internet connection. You will have lots of fun. You better tell your wife you love her before you disappear to the man cave to slay aliens. It will become a nightly ritual. Have you defeated evil today Guardian?

I highly recommend purchasing the digital copy of the game. I purchased this on sale for $40, received game new, wrapped in plastic 2 days later. Installed the huge game and then went to enter codes and it told me it was already in use. Contacted Amazon who immediately sent me a replacement disc. I receive the disc the next day, new, wrapped in plastic and went to enter the code and again told me it was used. I had already purchased this for PS3 and at this point was peeved because I not only had to buy the game again, but I was being ripped off for what I paid for. I contacted Amazon, who then told me to contact Activision. Contacted Activision who sent me to Bungie. Bungie's website gives no contact information and states to contact Playstation for code issues. Contacted playstation who was only able to verify that the codes were already used BEFORE I bought the game and referred me back to Amazon. I contact Amazon who says they will give me a digital code for the Taken King expansion pack for free, only to find out they gave me an e-code for only Expansion I and II and not the Taken King. This all took 5 hours between back and forth calls and chats and I finally gave up. Seriously buyer beware!!!

The case came with a sealed and unused disc and expired codes. I had read that Bungie had fixed it to where expired unused codes would work so I was optimistic. Upon entering the codes they were not accepted. So now I have 2 copies for my son that doesn't have the expansions, only the base game with rise of iron not accessible without the 3 expansions. I'm very disappointed. I have the rise of iron expansion as gamestop still sells that. But it's useless without expansion 1, 2 and taken King. What a waste of money.

Really fun shooter. I am from the "Duke Nukem" era of gaming and don't really play all the new shooters like COD. It often feels like Duke when playing. But I have really enjoyed the return to shooting everything in sight. It is visually beautiful and the story line is interesting. There are multiple characters you can be. There are multiple storylines to follow with the respective characters. Some of the online content is available without a PSN commitment. But much of the gaming involving multiple player campaigns must be done by having a PSN account. I can't offer how good or not good it is compared to other versions but I know I have had a good time so far.
