Phenomenal that's what you get when you put Dawn Sidebottom and Ker Dukey together.
Facade was amazing~ Cadence was brilliant, BRAVO LADIES !!

I don't want to say to much because I don't want to ruin anything by giving out any spoilers.
You Must Read Facade first ! Cadence picks up right where Facade leaves off.

Dante still has Faye. Cade is determined to get her back.

I was torn between the Dangerously Dark Dante and his twin brother Cade. Who also has a bit of a dark side to him that is eager to be unleashed.

In Cadence we get to see a whole other side to Dante, his need for revenge has taken over and has made him crewel and sadistic.

I fought the tremble in my legs and uncurled my fingers, fixing my gaze on the wall over his head as the towel fell to the floor. His gaze scanned me slowly, his eyes heating as he took in every contour of my body. “They say Medusa used her beauty to enslave her conquests.” I wanted to cry. But I wouldn’t allow him to see my pain.
He stood from the bed and slowly strode towards me, my body stiffening with each encroaching step. He placed a finger on my chin and directed my gaze to his face. “She was the most beautiful creature that men couldn’t deny. She lured them in.” He leaned into me, nuzzling his nose into the skin beneath my ear. “And then, when she had them hooked.” His fingers curled around my throat, his grasp harsh. “She turned them to stone.” He gave me a crooked smile. “You did that to me. But instead you turned my heart to stone. So you see, Belle, it’s your own beauty that made me this way.”

She was my other half, she completed the man I was, the man I wanted to be for her. My soul was created with hers and sent here for us to find each other. Love wasn’t condemning your soul mate for actions out of their control. Granted, love is painful, the most painful thing we endure on this earth but it’s alsonon- judgmental; it’s shameless and freeing the other person of all the things they find imperfect about themselves because to the person that loves them there is no such thing. Love is pure, true, enduring and for me, everlasting. I would love her forever and cherish the time we had.

Faye is the true victim. She unselfishly make sacrifices for the men she loves.

I can not wait for the Beneath Innocence novella.
I adore Jenson. My heart ached for him.

After the bomb shell of an ending of Facade, I was eager and a little bit scared.

First things first, if you don't want to read about rape, torture and murder don't read this book, it's not for you. Warning done.

Two brothers who shared a womb, but like Harry Potter and Lord Voldermort neither can live whilst the other survives. They share a need to destroy each other and take what belongs to them.

Faye had me worried. Which path would she choose?

Just for the record - I'm team Cade. Dante is too much of a mixed up nutcase for me.

Si en el primer libro me quedé flipando, este segundo no ha decepcionado.
Aunque Faye consigue liberarse de Dante y volver con Cade, ella realmente no es libre,no puede olvidar todo lo vivido con Dante.
Su angustia y terror es palpable ,y, es incapaz de perdonarse a sí misma. Cade sufre porque aunque sabe algo, no es capaz de imaginarse todo lo que ha pasado Faye a manos de su hermano.
En el primer libro, Dante parece un hombre torturado por el desamor y la traición que sintió por Faye en el pasado, pero en éste se nos revela como un auténtico monstruo más allá de cualquier posibilidad de salvación.
Estos libros son fantásticos, me encanta que las autoras consigan sorprenderte a cada paso.

What an emotional roller coaster and strangely, fascinating view into the mind of an obsessed and deranged madman. This book left me speechless, so much so that it took me several days to put pen to paper to my thoughts. I so longed for Dante to redeem himself. How could a man once so in love, do the things he did in the name of claiming what he considered his own and once so dear to his heart? Fortunately, what made this a truly great read for me, is that there is some light and hope dangling as a potential future outcome.

Two things I need to get off my chest before I go anywhere with this review...

Firstly.... Ker.... Dawn.... OMG you two are genius's and boy did you do a number on my head!!

Secondly.... #teamCade all the way!!

Now I have got that off my chest, ladies this is an amazing book!! After the state my mind was left in at the end of Facade, I won't lie I entered Cadence with a little hesitation especially as to what state my poor brain would be left in this time. There are books that stay with you, for different reasons, this is one that will always stay with me because of the WTF moments, the I didn't see that coming moments and mostly because of the amazing plot and writing skills of two very wonderfully deliciously dark women. I'm not going to go into the plot very much because I'm not causing any spoilers or giving anything away haha but I will mention some things. I love the whole Dante/Cade/Faye (Star) dynamic, I love that in Facade my heart broke and bled for Faye however in Cadence she comes back stronger and feistier but she kind of has too.

Cadence is from Cade's POV and you learn more about how all three of them got to be where they are and why. this book is so wonderfully dark and so full of moments that will shock you, some moments that will leave you awestruck and moments that will just shatter you. BUT it is so worth taking this journey and feeling all that Ker and Dawn intend you to feel. Their writing is astounding and the places they take you to, believe me you won't believe where you end up, you just never in a million years see it coming and every time you think you have your head wrapped around it, think again!! I honestly didn't think that Facade could be topped but the ladies did it and they did it immensely. I think all thats left to say is that these ladies, Ker and Dawn, have a way of making words bow down and worship them and the dark, twisted, gruesomely wonderful ideas that come from their devilishly amazing minds!! If you like a dark read that will bite back and slap you in the face with dark twists and turns you won't see coming, this series is for you!!!
