"The Puffy Shirt""The Puffy Shirt" is the second episode of the fifth season of the American NBC sitcom Seinfeld. It was the 66th episode and originally aired on September 23, 1993. Larry David, the creator of the show, came up with the idea to use the shirt, and cites this episode as one of his favorites in the series. Kramer is dating a woman, Leslie (Wendel Meldrum), a "low-talker", who nobody can hear due to her low speaking voice. When Jerry and Elaine have dinner with them, Kramer explains that Leslie is a fashion designer and has designed a new puffy shirt "like the pirates used to wear". After Elaine tells Leslie that Jerry is making an appearance on The Today Show to promote a Goodwill benefit to clothe the poor and homeless, Leslie says something in response that they don't hear. To be polite, they nod their heads. The next day Kramer delivers the shirt to Jerry, who realizes that he had inadvertently agreed to wear Leslie's puffy shirt on The Today Show. |
"The Soup Nazi""The Soup Nazi" is the 116th episode of the NBC sitcom Seinfeld, which was the sixth episode of the seventh season. It first aired in the United States on November 2, 1995. The Soup Nazi is also the nickname of the eponymous character, Yev Kassem, played by Larry Thomas. The term "Nazi" is used as an exaggeration of the excessively strict regimentation he constantly demands of his patrons |
"The Chinese Restaurant""The Chinese Restaurant" is the 11th episode of the sitcom Seinfeld's second season on NBC, and is the show's 16th episode overall. The episode revolves around protagonist Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) and his friends Elaine Benes (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) and George Costanza (Jason Alexander) waiting for a table at a Chinese restaurant, on their way to see Plan 9 from Outer Space. George tries to use the phone that is constantly occupied and Jerry recognizes a woman, but he is unsure where he has seen her before. |
"The Opposite""The Opposite" is the 86th episode of the NBC sitcom Seinfeld, which was also the 21st episode of the fifth season. It aired on May 19, 1994. Elaine gets a raise at Pendant Publishing, which is merging with a Japanese conglomerate to avoid bankruptcy, and is publishing Kramer's coffee table book. She has also reunited with her boyfriend Jake Jarmel. George remarks to Jerry in Monk's Café that every decision that he has ever made has been wrong, and that his life is the exact opposite of what it should be. Jerry convinces him that "if every instinct you have is wrong, then the opposite would have to be right". George experiments with doing the complete opposite of what he would do normally. He orders the opposite of his normal lunch, and introduces himself to a beautiful woman (played by Dedee Pfeiffer) who happens to order the same lunch, saying, "My name is George. I'm unemployed and I live with my parents." She is impressed and agrees to date him. |

Seinfeld is really good and reminds me alittle of Friends Tv show.
Love that its 9 seasons long, so it'll last awhile.
Not so much a fan of the disc arrangements.
Kinda hard to keep them all in order.
Other than that, really have been enjoying the series!
Strange packaging of the discs.
I ordered the LIOVODE DVD Case, 48 Capacity CD Case Portable CD Case Holder Storage Hard Plastic DVD CD Wallet Holder Organizer for Car to keep the discs in instead.
