Jason Gray's new album, Where the Light Gets In, is a stirring weave of sorrow, light, hope, and even of celebration. The sonic cohesiveness of the thirteen-song project is nonetheless remarkable, considering the tracks were built simultaneously by nine different producers (Jason Ingram, Ben Glover, & others) with one or two songs apiece. Jason's new radio single, "Sparrows," went for early adds on K-Love, Sirius XM, among others with an official add date of 4/1 and is climbing the NCA charts.

This cd is my absolute new favorite, I have loved every one of Jason Gray's cds and I was eagerly anticipating this one too. Boy, was I blown away when I listened to it. It is the whole package. Catchy beats and awesome lyrics about praising God but also making it through hard times. My 4 year old daughter and I both love the song "Celebrate" and dance to it like crazy! Each song is better than the last on the disc. Well done Jason Gray. You are awesome!!
My disclaimer is that I am not a music expert at all! I love the sound of this CD and the lyrics, in true Jason Gray fashion, are wonderful. I have seen him in concert three times and he is such a great person (at least on stage!) and seems to have walked through a lot of valleys. His music reflects the wisdom and humility he's gained... I find his approach in this album very fascinating: toe-tapping music to some heart-wrenching themes.
This is such a great CD - have to confess it's the first of Jason Gray's that I've bought, but wow! It won't be the last! My favourite track is I will rise again. Wonderful lyrics, and I don't say that lightly - as I really like the songs of Casting Crowns, but Jason is up there with the best. A great worship CD. Buy it!!
There is not one thing to dislike about this album. It hits me hard every time I listen to it. If you have wounds, this album puts words to your hurts and reminds you of the love of God and how the hurts are not wasted. So encouraging, and real. This album is a must.
