This is a very enjoyable holiday novella. I found the characters to be quite fun- Aryanna is quite sassy and I definitely found myself laughing at her antics in the book. Ruben is also quite enjoyable with a bit less character development than Aryanna.
The story is about a man and a woman both who have lost some very important people in their lives. So when their lives cross at a holiday visit two unlikely strangers find that they have more in common than just their losses. Add in a bit of spice, romanticism, and hilarious characters and you have yourself a great book!
For those looking for a light holiday read you may want to check out this book. Overall I found it to be quite enjoyable. I also liked how the story takes place outside of the United States. Adds a bit more uniqueness to the book!
