Pro's: 1) Very comfortable, 2) convenient bag empty, 3) quality connectors.
Con's: 1) The tube that connects the sheath with the drainage bag is about 2 inches too short, so that there is a constant tug on the tube and sheath, with every step you take. 2) The snaps used are complete garbage! They do not stay snapped! In fact, they are so loosely fitted, that even a slight movement will cause them to come apart!
Overview: (I recently had prostate surgery, and I am tired of wearing pads and diapers all the time) I received my unit today, put it on immediately, and took my children out for open house at school, then school supply shopping, and finally to dinner. The entire time I was out, the tube continued to tug gently on the sheath, and I was worried about what might happen if all of the snaps came loose. My worst nightmare occurred, right in the middle of the restaurant! The snaps came loose, because of the constant tugging, because the connecting tube is too short. The sheath popped out of the jock strap, and slid where it wasn't supposed to slide.
Summary: If you lengthen the connector tube by about 2 inches (Longer if you're over 5'10"), and REPLACE THE SNAPS WITH SOMETHING HEAVY DUTY, SNAPS THAT ACTUALLY STAY TOGETHER, you might have a winner worthy of 5 stars... But, because of my worst fear being realized, on my first ever night out with it, I can't give it more than 1 star... On the other hand, if you are 5'6" or shorter, the length of the connecting tube might fit you quite nicely! Over 5'6", better wait until they start using a longer tube, and better snaps.
The pouch has an inner seal that creates a waterproof seal. It is a bit uncomfortable at first but I got used to it. The leg bag straps are not great but I had a cloth sleeve for my leg already. The hosing is not very flexible so you have to wear the bag lower, calf. Not the thigh. Finally, keep the cap. You will know what I mean. If you don’t want to use the bag the pouch is pretty good size so it should hold a good amount of liquid but you need to cap it off.
