Being this scope is relatively new on the market and not many user reviews available, I was a little skeptical. I spent a good bit of time researching and reviewing optics of all power levels in all price ranges, to point that I was almost going to give up and stick with traditional irons! I looked at the Vortex, I looked Leupold, I looked at this one and that one and so on and so forth, what better do you have to do when you are searching for ammo at the same time! By the way this is for a 300 BLK setup. I was looking for an all around shooting and hunting scope, something that would give me close up and a good bit of distance. The Leupolds that I looked at all had the 1-4, 1.25-4 or 1.5-5 and I wanted a true 1x with greater magnification. The Vortex was the only one that had one available that I could find that had really good reviews unless I went to the next level in the Leupolds and I wasn't going there! I looked at the Nikon with the 300 BLK BDC reticle with the 2-7 power, which would've been a lot cheaper, but did not give me the low end I was wanting. Well enough blabbing..... I ended up finding some good reading and I've used Bushnell products in the past, so I figured I'd give it a go one more time, they haven't let me down yet and the 100% no bull, buy back warranty didn't hurt the deal either.

I received the scope yesterday and mounted it for my trip to the range, we only have a public 100 yard range available here. When unboxing the scope I was very happy with the construction, it felt well made, felt like a good piece of equipment. The rapid eye focus is tight, but glides smoothly, the 1-6.5 power adjustment cam is tight, but glides very smoothly. Everything about the scope seems to be put together very well. The lighted reticle is nice, although on the highest power you do get wash around the horseshoe and center dot, I guess you could use this in bright day light, but I don't know why you would need a lighted reticle in daylight, that's for another day and another discussion. I did not try it at the range, only in my house. I found for my comfort, level 5 brightness was great, it was enough with lights on in the house and I moved around and went into rooms with no lights on and it wasn't overpowering and didn't washout when I returned to the room with light on. The fact that every other notch is off is great, so you don't have to spin the dial all the way back and forth every time. I like the FFP, first focal plane, you have the horseshoe nice and printed when you are down to 1x and using both eyes open and then the windage and drop hold hash lines come into play as you adjust out for more magnification but the horseshoe stays nice and printed.

At the range, I had no problems getting out to 100 yards with every magnification variable on the scope. The glass is crystal clear, the elevation and windage knobs are very positive. Both shooting from my sled in zeroing and doing some standing unsupported drills, going through the magnifications, I had a great time with this scope. I highly recommend it, You won't be disappointed, if you are Bushnell will buy it back for what you paid, so you can't beat that with a stick.

PROS: Glass is super clear, turret adjustments are very positive, very well put together, strong warranty, Great magnification, true 1x scope.

CONS: Little bleed over at highest level of illumination, but nothing that bothers me in the slightest. My aimpoint does the same thing.

Goes perfect on my M1a Scout. FFP mrad lets me range and fire at 1.8 meter tall targets out to 800 yards. The 1x magnification has wonderful FOV and the reticle looks like a red dot when illuminated. The perfect battle rifle optic. I highly recommend.

This scope is awesome. It took a little bit of time to get adjusted to the way that it works best for me but having the 6.5x is way better then the 4x scopes.
