Before you balk at the price of these, consider the numbers. You are getting THREE big 32 count boxes with an order. Many of the "cheaper" alternatives only have 17 bags to the box, so you are not really getting a good deal. The Ziplock brand is of high quality, and I've had fewer failures with them than any other brand that I've tried. You do pay a little more for the "slider", but the ability to grip it when your hands are wet or greasy seems worth that few cents. All in all, I consider this bulk buy a good value.

These are EXCELLENT. I use them to get big bags of popcorn and then split them up into single servings. I'll also use them to store "single servings" of prepared coir block material for the composting toilet. They are also great for storing rice and oatmeal and bread so that the air can't get to them. Then I put them in a 31 gallon metal garbage pail to keep the rodents out of my emergency food supply. They are also excellent for storing underwear in your backpack or suitcase to keep them dry and handy. They are also great to store fruit that you're picking off the vine during growing season. Also, you never know when you might find some natural object that you love, so carry one with you. They are also good as a vomit bag just in case you smoke too much pot out in the woods when you're communing with nature. In other words, these things are awesome and you'll always be finding new uses for them.

We have these ziploc bags on subscription. We use it for everything. Besides food storage, we use it to store small toys, to bring extra sets of clothes to daycare, for school projects, the list goes on and on. The reason I gave it 4 stars though is because sometimes the little slider falls off and it's not always possible to get it back on and working. So at times, we need to just throw it away without really getting a chance to use it. That only happens once in awhile, but enough to be a minor annoyance.

Strong zipper storage bags! These are getting hard to find on store shelves. I use the Ziploc brand storage bags to scoop cat litter into then toss them into the garbage can outdoors. I personally find that the cheaper Glad zipper brand doesn't hold up as well as the Ziploc brand for this use because of the heavy weight of cat litter. The Glad bag brand zippers either open up with heavy litter in them, or the zipper slider breaks off of them. In the long run, I'm better off spending a little more to avoid the hassle of that happening.

I have been so unhappy with these bags. I will not order again. I buy most everything possible from Amazon subscribe and save and LOVE that feature. We have thrown away more bags than I ever have because the "zipper" either comes off completely or the bag won't initially open. You try and open the bag and it doesn't so you grab both sides of it like a potato chip bag and then you end up tearing up the bag. I'm looking for another brand.

I don't know if we just got a bad batch, or what, but these bags seem like they can't possibly be genuine Ziplocs. The printing on them is blurry and off, and the closure mechanism just doesn't work right. The clasp has fallen off several of the bags on the first attempt to close them. If these are what Ziploc is making now, I'm sure switching back to generic.
