Sheena Binkley first discovered her love for storytelling when writing her first story for a class project at nine. Since then, she has composed several short stories and numerous tales that are not only engaging, but simply entertaining. She is also a freelance writer, penning articles on various topics, including education and entertainment.

Riana and Shawn's story was sweet! I loved how Shawn was patient with Riana and how he was her protector. I hated the fact that Riana was humiliated in high school and was bullied but I'm so glad she was able to put the past in the past and leave it there.

This story immediately pulled me in, describing Riana's horrible high school experience due to issues with her jerk of an ex, Nathan. The characters were relatable, especially the situations described in the book. I was pleased with the end and that Riana decided to take Shawn back because he was a good guy despite the mistakes he made. I recommend this novel to other book lovers w/o hesitation.

This book was not as good as it could have been. The storyline has promise but, it needs some more work. I really loved Shawn & Riana's chemistry. I enjoyed the development of the secondary characters and how she touches on their individual issues in this story. I am looking forward to their stories. I also liked how Ms Binkley kept me in suspense as to who Elis really was ( although I knew) and his explanation for all the subterfuge. Unfortunately, some parts of the story just weren't congruent or didn't line up, for me. Also, I want the author to choose between writing this series in first person-past tense (recommended) or first person-present tense. Present tense is expected in the dialogue but a lot of the narration shifts constantly between these two tenses (in the same sentence) making it a hassle to read.

HOWEVER, I don't want to give up on this author!! I believe she has talent and am willing to invest in it to see where this series takes me.

First I would like to say how much I love reading. My kindle , a book or magazine are never far from my reach. With that being said, I'll start by saying that this author has great story telling skills, and I truly enjoyed Riana and Shawn' s story, however I can only give it 4 star's. The editing was none existing and grammatical errors were abundant. If the author gets a great English major to proof read and edit her work from this point on I have no doubt that she will be a force in the literary world.

This book is based off the love of Riana and Shawn. They met in college, intro to journalism to be exact. They didn't plan their love. They didn't even like each other in the being. Plus they both had a lot of issues in the love department. But an unexpected incident occurred causing them to open there eyes. They go through a couple of trails but in the end love really did conquer all.
