These were a perfect edition to our train themed birthday party! The kiddos loved them and use them now to eat ice cream and other fun snacks out of. We didn't bake out of them but enjoyed them nonetheless! There are plans to use them for each holiday and decorate in the theme of the holiday for the 6 year old. Just too cute!

I ordered these molds for a Bridal Tea Party that I was hosting. They went perfectly with the theme! Everyone loved them. We made chocolate cupcakes with a pink frosting and I must say, they were easier to clean than some of the other reviews let on. I just had to flip them inside-out and use a sponge. And the silicone didn't get stained either. I haven't used them a second time yet, but so far... they're perfect!!

I purchased two of these sets for a little girl's tea party I was hosting and I'm back to buy two more. I did not however bake in them. I did not see the purpose. Instead I baked my cupcakes as usual, using plain white liners then popped them in after they cooled. Piping the frosting on after they were in the cups was a breeze. They were adorable and a huge conversation piece. Everyone loved them! I can't wait for the next tea!!

This seems like it should be coming from a dollar store. Way overpriced. The materials used are flimsy. It probably would be allright for a children's doll tea party, but it is not practical otherwise. A waste of money for product and a real waste of money for the overpriced shipping and handling.

I ordered only one of these when they were only $12.79 to try it out. In the meantime I tried it out and was going to order two more but the price went up almost $5.00 each, thus I did not order more. I baked muffins in it this morning and it stains being white. You are supposed to be able to serve the baked goods out of the teacup. The muffins come out easily but I could not get anything to take the stains off, washing them did nothing. I was very disappointed as I have ladies over for tea and thought it was a great tool. I would have rated the product a five star rather than a three star because of that.

We used these for our American Girl Doll Tea Party for the girls cupcakes, they were a huge hit. I bought two sets (8 cups total) and I had no staining on any of them whatsoever. We used devils food cake boxed mix. I did not use non-stick spray, instead I brushed the insides with a little vegetable oil. Would def recommend these, they're fun & durable.
Just FYI I used vanilla frosting colored pink and snipped the end off a ziplock bag to make a piping bag out of. Super quick & simple and the results were impressive!

I don't see paying $17 for four cupcake molds a good value when the only reason I paid so much for these (I bought 3 boxes, stupidly) was for their aesthetic value. I can't give them any more than one star (I'd give zero, if I could) because I didn't buy these to be silicone cupcake molds, I bought them to be pretty white porcelain-like tea-cup cupcake molds. If I wanted purely functional silicone cupcake molds, I would have bought those ... and paid much less for them.

The instructions indicate clearly that using a spray-on oil to oil the cups will cause discoloration, but nowhere is it said that baking cupcakes ONE TIME will ruin the cups with permanent stains. After ONE USE, each and every one of my cups was stained anywhere the cake batter was thin enough to over-cook slightly (such as at the edges of the cupcakes or where one or two drops of batter were left on the edge or outside of the cups.

Naturally, the cups will still work as cupcake molds, but why the he11 would I pay so much money for a mold that is marketed as a porcelain-look-alike product that stains the first time it is used? I certainly could have been more fastidious in my placement of the cake batter, but I wasn't particularly careless and I was under the impression that I would have been warned (by the box) if there were a problem (e.g. such as was the case with the spray-on oil).

This is particularly disappointing to me because my daughter is about to turn one and I thought these would make super cute cake molds for her 1st birthday ... so, what I paid a whole lot of money for was only dashed hopes for a cute party idea.

I have noticed that a more recent review gives a complicated pre-use treatment plan for avoiding stains. Nowhere on the box (or on any other silicone baking item I've used, for that matter) is this treatment described. I have never done that and don't know if it works, but it might. If the makers of these cups had indicated that a thorough and complicated anti-staining treatment should be followed to avoid stains, I certainly would have followed it. Even if stains can be avoided, I still think a zero to one star review is appropriate, considering the manufacturer gives no warning of possible problems that might occur through the normal, advertised use of the product.
