Cons: Holding down the "On" button gets a bit tiresome.
I'm not sure why it took me so long to purchase an electric knife. My mother used to use one and it seemed so old fashioned and unnecessary. Not too long ago, as I was struggling, trying to carve a large roast, the vision of an electric knife came to me. I'm very glad I bought one.
This is a relatively simple electric knife. It only has one set of blades. It has an electric cord. It has a button on top that you depress when you want the knife to start working.
The "knife" is composed of two very sharp serrated blades that hook together. When the knife is turned on (when the top button is depressed and held) the two blades start moving in opposite directions. Meat is cut with a sawing motion of the blades.
The cut is quick and smooth. You can diagonally slice flank steak into thin, professional looking slices. You can cut through bone, sinew, thick cuts.
The blades are removable and easy to wash. The knife handle is heavy plastic and must be cleaned with a damp cloth.
I purposely selected a knife that had an electric cord. One does have to take care to ensure the cord is out of the way when slicing. I don't use an electric knife often enough to keep a rechargeable one charged and ready to go when I need it.
Also, this knife does not come with a storage box or container. The knives fit into a plastic safety sleeve and I keep everything in the cardboard box it came in.
My only gripe is that holding the large On button down while slicing a large cut of meat can get tiresome on my thumb. It's not as tiresome as using a carving knife, however, if you are doing a lot of carving, you will need to keep up the thumb pressure to keep the knife working.

Eso si hace ruido por el motora que trae, pero corta muy bien 👍🏽
Many people complained the handle won't fit into the stand
I added 4 photos
1 loop the electric cord through the slot
2 hold handle and with other hand and gently wiggle the cord until the base is seated
3 insert into the top slot and with thumb push down until the handle Clicks into place
4 in the photo you can see that the handle is very tightly
secured even shaking the whole board up and down!
Some people say this machine easily overheats?
Never let this machine run continuously ... think electric drill .. same thing!
instead .. take your finger off the trigger after every slice for approximately 1 or 2 seconds
this is also why some people complain that it is not Ergonomic to use
because they hold the trigger down continuously,
and also again this is not good for the motor!
When slicing meat .. think Delli .. they slice from the edge of the large piece of meat
and never in the middle .. and besides this electric knife is not designed
for this purpose or for trying to slice bones?
yup some people try to slice bones and then say this knife is no good:-)
I have found the "carving" or the smaller meat blade works really excellently
on very soft loaves of French bread .. perfect slicing with zero tearing ..
personally I am very satisfied with this knife ..
I have been using this machine for about 2 years and happily :-)
hope these pointers help for those not familiar with these kind of knives.
On a side note it would be very beneficial for Cuisinart
to post a video on the "Do's and Don'ts " for the operation
of this well made machine .. after all not everyone is appliance savvy :-) peace
