For example, they mention it works great in their Ruger Wrangler Revolvers, consistently with LR308, and is the best product for the money. Some say it's an excellent training tool and good for practice with loading and dry firing. That said, some complain about the feeding and jam resistance. Opinions are mixed on the quality, snap cap, and durability.

Customers also say it comes in very handy and is great for new shooter training to load and unload. They also mention that it'll jam a Henry model H001.

Customers are mixed about the quality of the product. Some mention that the brass is very durable, and the construction is one piece injection molded plastic that has been finished well with no detectable burrs. They load smoothly, take a hit multiple times in the same firing pin position, and help prevent wear on your firing pin. However, others say that they break down over time, and chip away after several uses.
"...In point of fact after one or two snappings on that fragile plastic rim, it has to be tossed. On the plus, size you get a few to play around with." Read more
"They chip and fragment when dry fired. The plastic bits that break off will jam a revolver" Read more

Customers are mixed about the snap cap. Some mention they are decent, handy, and function well in their revolver. However, others say that they are not a real snap cap, they don't have a spring, and they're useless for that.
"These are the best plastic or polymer snap caps I have found, these took a lot of snaps and never did break on me...." Read more
"...Terrible for dry firing, the snap caps will leave a dent and eventually wont even exit the magazine due to the oddly shaped rims,..." Read more
"...These snap caps are well-made. They can be loaded through the magazine. I have a Browning Buckmark, Tikka T1X, and Ruger SR22...." Read more
"Ruger Mk 2 target… snaps wouldn’t feed smoothly through the magazine. They jammed almost every time I tried to chamber a round...." Read more
Customers are mixed about the durability of the product. Some mention that it's better for continued use than aluminum Zoom dummies, and it lasts longer than the alternatives. However, others say that the pin strikes the plastic it dents it pretty good, and the plastic casings were damaged when falling on a hard surface. The plastic is easily chipped and the end cap will be damaged in several dryfires.
"They chip and fragment when dry fired. The plastic bits that break off will jam a revolver" Read more
"...Like all plastic/nylon dry fire snap caps they only last 5-10 shots, but that is to be expected. BUT they are neither "unisex" nor "adult"." Read more

Malfunction was difficult to clear, as I could not strip the rifle due to the bolt carrier group being out of battery because of the jammed round. Had to release tension on the round by holding the charging handle all the way back with one hand, while jamming a flathead screwdiver into the magazine well with the other hand to finally clear the round.
In short, these might be fine for a bolt action rifle or a single shot rifle. I really would not recommend these for an AR-15. Never in my life have I ever seen a malfunction like this.

Will prolong the life of my bolt .
By using these snap caps you are able to protect the firing mechanism as the plastic is siginifcantly softer than the metal chamber that the firing pin would otherwise hit.
You will use these up over time as the lip slowly gets hit away with useage. However, they seem to last long enough for how little they cost.
You can alternatively use some of the drywall plastic sleeves used to hang things on walls, but when purchasing these you know exactly what size you are getting.
