Product Description

The use of natural essential oils for aromatherapy is an ancient and time-honored tradition that’s been enhancing moods and lifting spirits for thousands of years. Essential oils are liquid plant essences that are genuine reflections of the botanicals from which they’re born. Our ingredients consist of 100% pure tea tree oil only, created through a natural distillation process, offering the purest and most potent natural essential oil available. Natural essential oils are highly concentrated and should be used with care. If you are looking to freshen the air naturally try Purifying Room Blend: Add 1 drop each of tea tree oil and grapefruit oil, along with 10 drops of lemon oil to a diffuser and enjoy.

Helps My Hormonal Cystic Acne

Helps My Hormonal Cystic Acne
I recently switched BC methods and ended up with horrible, painful, cystic acne all over my face (due to increased testosterone, and increased sebum production). I'm 26. I read the reviews for this product and decided to give it a try; the difference was noticeable within a day or two.My method, so far: I do not dilute it or use a cotton ball. I use my clean fingers to rub a thin layer on my freshly washed face (focusing on the problem areas) once or twice a day. I always apply after the shower, when my pores are open. Sometimes it stings a tiny bit. The smell doesn't bother me, though I strongly suggest avoiding the area directly near the eyes and under the nose.My results: all of the redness around my acne has gone away. The oil dries out my pores, which I need. It brings the sebum/puss to the surface of the skin --- in a good way! Then the acne eventually wears away on its own. I would say it reduced my acne by at least 50%, after using it consistently for about 3 weeks.Downsides: For me, I have to use this consistently. If I miss a day or two, the redness and painful cysts come back. It makes sense, since I still have the overactive sebum production and this oil doesn't treat that.No photos right now, because my acne scars are still present and might look like current breakouts. The only other products I use are a charcoal soap in the shower, and a Clarisonic Mia for exfoliation (both about twice a week). Overall, I absolutely would recommend this product for someone suffering from hormonal acne. I hope you find my description helpful, and good luck!

The natural anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, anti-fungal and antiseptic properties of therapeutic grade Tea Tree Essential Oil has powerful anti-bacterial properties and has been used in everything from treating eczema/psoriasis/acne, dermatitis of the scalp and body, controlling and eliminating mite pests (dust mites, bed bugs, scabies, even head lice), and oral/dental related issues such as toothaches and gum infections when applied directly to the area on it's own, or when a few drops are added to your favorite antiseptic mouth rinse (like Listerine).

It also can be used to treat acne when added to pure 100% Witch Hazel (alcohol Free), you only need 1-2 drops of tea tree oil for every 1-2ounces of witch hazel for a great anti-acne toning treatment! And tea tree oil is also great for stimulating hair growth when added to shampoo or liquid conditioner leave-ins, or shealoe for a great homeopathic scalpdress, so the benefits of this wonderful Essential Oil are practically limitless.

In 2113, The National Center for Biotechnology Information Human Genome/US National Library of Medicine/National Institutes of Health website published a study by F. M. Sakr, et al., that showed use of therapeutic grade Tea Tree Essential Oil combined with Minoxidil and Diclofenal (a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory) was notably more effective than Minoxidil alone in regrowing hair.

Externally:
Traditional Coconut + EO Emulsion
To prepare 6% eo oil blend: place 1tbsp + 1/4 tsp Tea Tree Oil, only in 1-cup Organic unrefined Cold-Pressed Coconut Oil (melted) and apply to face, body and scalp (if hair is very fine apply to scalp at bedtime and rinseout in the mornings) Many ayurvedic therapies successfully involve the use of therapeutic grade essential oils to treat skin disorders and also to kill parasitic mites, etc..

6% eo blend (using Tea Tree eo + Clove eo in Coconut Oil)
To prepare 6% eo oil blend: place 1tbsp of TeaTree essential oil + 1/4 tsp (up to ½ tsp) Clove Essential Oil in 1-cup Organic unrefined Cold-Pressed Coconut Oil (melted) and apply to face, body and scalp (if hair is very fine apply to scalp at bedtime and rinseout in the mornings).

Alternative 6% eo blend (using 100% Pure Grapeseed Oil + Tea Tree eo Emulsion):
Note: Most people tolerate Tea tree eo very well, but sometimes the Clove eo can be reactive as well as the Coconut Oil. In this case it is recommended to simply place place 1tbsp + 1/4 tsp (up to 1/2 tsp) of TeaTree essential oil, only in 1-cup 100% Pure Grapeseed Oil and apply to face, body and scalp (if hair is very fine apply to scalp at bedtime and rinseout in the mornings)..

Note: If a stronger (anti-parasitic) blend is required add additional Tea Tree Oil, but if/when adding additional Clove Oil, but be very careful as Clove Essential Oil is 'hot' and too much can burn, so add enough to the point where you will feel warm and aggressively burn the skin parasites, but not enough to blister your skin. Essential Oil blend solution should not exceed more than 8% total essential oil/s per 1-cup of carrier oil in the formulary..

And for Day-To-Day Maintenance following use of the 6% EO treatment a less potent dilution of about 1%-3% is recommended that will be just enough to maintain remission, but not so strong as to over stimulate / aggravate the surface of the skin during periods of normalcy/remission.
1.5% EO blend -
3/4tsp + 1/16tsp Tea Tree Oil added per 1Cup Coconut Oil (or Grapeseed Oil) used for day to day usage.

The unique properties of Tea Tree Essential Oil (and similarly Clove, Peppermint, Rosemary) allow it to help other oils and blends that benefit the skin and hair (and hairloss) to function more effectively when included, than when not.
The only downside is that essential oils can be a lot more expensive than other oils, but you definitely will save money over time by investing in the larger size bottles when making these types of purchases.
----
Special notes; Many people suggest that Tea Tree Oil works fine on it's own, and most of the studies used 'either' Tea Tree Essential Oil or Clove Essential Oil, so unless specifically treating for bedbugs, and other pests, try the Tea Tree Oil on it's own and wait 2weeks to assess quality of improvement to determine if the additional oomph (or expense) of the Clove Oil is needed...

Essential Oils are quite strong, so they typically need to be diluted with a good carrier oil such as Coconut Oil, Jojoba Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Sweet Almond Oil or Extra Virgin Olive Oil. And for acne issues, remember, it's best to add only a few drops to 1-2tbsp 100% Witch Hazel (alcohol-free) before spot applying to the skin.

Overall, for the medicinal benefits alone, pure Tea Tree Oil is a must have/great buy at almost any price.

Our grade: A-; or 4.91-Stars!

Bottle was not properly sealed, like partially unscrewed. So nearly half the bottle leaked all over the box and inner bag. Undiluted that can be a major skin irritant. I put gloves on after I picked the package up off the porch bc the smell was so strong I knew it had to have leaked. Thankfully Amazon refunded me with very little hassle. I am using what is left of the bottle bc the tamper evident collar on the lid was still intact. No one had messed with it, it was just very poorly packaged and the cap was jarred loose in transit. And since this isn’t particularly perishable, or edible, I decided it was probably just fine for topical use. No sense in wasting things.
As for the oil itself, I really like now tea tree. We use it for all sorts of cuts a scrapes(diluted of course), I add it to my conditioner to help my scalp, I’ve used it in bars of soap, I’ve even used it to make my own yeast infection medication, all with great success. Just dilute properly, ratios can be found all over the internet, straight or too strong can cause some really itchy skin irritation.

I'm not going to lie, this stuff absolutely stinks!!! When I first put this on my skin, I started gagging. If you can get past the smell, it is amazing! I searched high and low for something to put on my skin after having my whole face threaded, an alternative to waxing, for those of you who don't know what threading is. Unfortunately, I have the most sensitive skin on my face!! The first time I had my face threaded, within hours, my face had horrible bumps on it! I had to deal with this for months. I used dozens of products to attempt to clear my face. I avoided going out, except when it was extremely necessary. I've never experienced such horrible bumps on my face, ever! I was so traumatized by that experience, so I decided to stay away from getting my face threaded. Finally, after about six months, I decided I would search high and low for something to prevent this from happening again.

I read dozens of forums from other people who experienced the same from having their face threaded. One person found a 'miracle' cream that worked well for her, but the price tag was a bit too much for me. $90 seemed a bit extreme for me, so I kept searching, and I found someone mention tree tea oil and witch hazel with aloe vera. I did more research on tree tea oil, and was amazed by all the ways you can use this product! I decided to try it out, and it worked! Right after I had my whole face threaded, I hurried home to wash my face with Cetaphil anti-bacterial soap, rinsed with very cold water, rubbed an iced cube all over my face, then applied the tree tea oil mixed with Jajoba oil (Mixed with jojoba to dilute the strong tea oil, which can cause skin irritation on sensitive skin, if applied directly to skin without a 'carrier oil'). I followed the same steps before bed, and for the rest of the week. My face looks great! Maybe two or three bumps, but nothing major or painful. I tested the tree tea oil, without jajoba, on my wrist, and saw no bad reaction.

I decided to use a cotton swab to dip in the bottle for any blemishes, and it worked perfectly. After more than two weeks, it still stinks! Even my younger siblings can't stand being around me when I apply it to my skin, but it's not a big deal for me. Sorry for the long review, but I really wanted to share my entire experience with other people who are thinking of buying this product. I've also been applying this on my mom's fingernail, which she severely damaged when she accidentally ripped her acrylic nail off. Her real nail is dead, and looks like the entire thing is about to fall off. I will update my review in a couple of weeks with results, if any.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is the best tea tree oil out there..
Reviewed in Canada on August 25, 2020
You can buy the cheaper stuff if you like but that cheaper quality products can and sometimes seem to be "diluted" or "mixed" even though their labels claim "pure" or "100%".

For Tea tree oils that seems to be also true. Least with the tea tree oil I tried prior to this.

Now products oils are always top quality oils. Personally, I'd rather pay a bit more for this higher quality oil. I always like to try to save a buck when i can but, when it comes to oils, there are many inferior products out there claiming to be the same quality as NOW tea tree oil, but that's just not true.My last tea tree oil from the competitor turned into "slime" in a few months.

"Now" Tea tree oil seems to stay "stable" for much much longer. In fact i have never seen now tea tree oil turn to slime. I regularly use this brand, Its just a fair price for high quality product.

Don't look elsewhere just get this kind you will be happy you did, it is the best.

5.0 out of 5 stars it feels very cool on the skin and doesn't really dry too much ...
Reviewed in Canada on March 11, 2015
My nose was always inflamed and nothing really helped until I tried tea tree oil. It helps so much, it feels very cool on the skin and doesn't really dry too much and it isn't oily on your skin either which is great because my skin doesn't react well to oily residues and such.

I don't really have that much acne anymore, but my skin still gets inflamed daily so this product is a must for me.
