Product Description

Experience flexible stability from the inside out with the new Provision 2.0ª. Innovative StabiliPodª technology provides a tripod of stability by boosting support in the medial, lateral and heel of your foot. A built-in stability wedge slopes down from the medial to lateral sides of the foot to provide extra support and prevent excess pronation. Innerflexª technology utilizes grid-like flex grooves in the midsole to let your foot flex where it needs to for more speed and stability. And like every Altra shoe, the Provision 2.0 features a FootShapeª toe box that lets your toes relax and spread out for a more comfortable, stable run and a fully cushioned Zero Dropª platform that encourages natural running form and a low-impact foot strike. Run fast, free and stable with the new Provision 2.0.

I wore these shoes for a year and finally gave up. They were ripping along the seams from just way too much wear and tear. I found that the new shoe however feels narrower across the toe box, so I ordered an 8 Medium in men's for the width. I hope it works. I really like this shoe. I use them mostly for trails.

I have had several of the past versions of the women's brooks cascadia 10 and LOVED them. However, this model is just kind of "bleh". The cut of the shoe is much different and the materials are not as high quality as past models. Not thrilled about these changes. :-(

If you need running shoes, buy them from someone (like REI) with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Amazon has only 30 days, these shoes area train wreck, and now I'm out all the money on these dogs.

I've worn this model for years and miles of comfort. So it was a no brainer to simply order the latest version online and replace my worn out shoes.

Never again. The toe box is way shorter than previous Cscadias and is so cramped the nailbed under both my "pointer" toes is bruised and in constant pain. Today I simply walked for a few miles in these and my toes feel like they are broken. I'll be better off using my trashed old runners and end the pain of these shoes.

No matter how cheap - don't buy these because it takes a while to find these issues in running shoes and Amazon won't issue refunds after 30 days.

As an owner of the Cascadia 9 model of the womens running shoes, I was disappointed in the material on the top by the toes. I had these shoes for less than a year, and it ripped clear through to my socks. I am neither a trail runner or avid hiker I just walk the dogs, but the material is made in a way that it rubs on itself and wears down on the existing mesh creating holes on both sides of the shoe. I wasn't about to give up, because the shoes are quite comfortable and I really like the color choices, so I went ahead and asked for a pair of Cascade 10's for Christmas hoping that Brooks hadn't made the same mistake with their newer model. Well, Santa brought them to me and I was like a kid in a candy store. The new shoes fit perfect, and I was excited to walk the dogs again. After only 4 months of wearing these shoes, the same thing started to happen to the toe area, and sadly have started to wear that same hole as previously described. I am now stuck with two pairs of beautifully ruined shoes, and we are out over $200. I will NOT be buying these for myself or asking for them as a gift again.

Love these Cascadias. They fit like the Ghosts but give me more stability on the trails. I wear the same size in these as I do in all my Brooks. I've really liked these so far.
