On library day in kindergarten, Carla Gardner always went home depressed because she wasn’t allowed to go to the big kid’s library down the hall. To keep herself entertained, she would roam around her yard with an old fashioned tape recorder, making up her own stories and songs. She has since graduated from cassettes to a laptop and makes her home in small-town Ohio with her high school sweetheart, Kevin, their two dogs, Harley and Isabella and two cats, Luna and Aurora. When not writing, Carla enjoys reading, watching movies, traveling and going out on the motorcycle. She is a self-professed music addict, with her interests ranging from the 50's to modern country and rock, though the 80's is her go to decade. Carla is in the process of learning to crochet. Her first project was a hat that ended up fitting her Yorkie, Isabella. Bella wasn't impressed.
