If you’re looking for a book to help with identification, this is not it.
I bought this one because it was National Geographic. But I will be returning it because it’s useless as a field guide. It wouldn’t even be useful for beginners. It is definitely pocket size though, but difficult to open and read.

I love this book!!! I did not expect much when I ordered it due to its small size. But I am happily surprised at this book. I am reading it every night since it arrived.

This is packed with information from the basic minerals to the rocks made up of crystals and rock formations and mountains.

I have been traveling around gathering all the possible Michigan rocks and minerals. Sometimes they can be hard to identify. This book helps a lot.

This will be going on trips with me from now on.

Ao meu ver, o livro é muito bom para quem pensa em seguir carreira nas áreas geográficas como Geologia, por exemplo. Leitura rápida e consistente e, também, detalhado pra caramba, com muitas ilustrações, etc.

3 countries make up North America…USA, Canada and Mexico. Was disappointed to find nothing listed for Mexico. Should change title as it is not correct. I realize that it is the publisher/authors error so gave you 3 instead of zero stars
