I bought the 50lb Lo-Vis green for my frog rod. I have it on a Pflueger President reel paired with an Abu Garcia Vengeance 7' medium heavy rod. With this setup the bass don't stand a chance no matter how heavy the matted grass, lily pads or general muck. I can horse them out of anything. This is great line. Yes it's very visible in the water but fishing bass with topwater frogs in the thick weeds who cares? It's incredibly strong, I never have a knot break and even the couple big pike that I have landed without a leader were no match for this line. Next spring I plan to experiment with some of the lighter weight Stren Superline Braid on some of my other rods. I really love this line and would recommend it to anyone.

Frayed ends are a constant issue if using it for tying direct to but it is strong and makes for a better main line to a fluoro leader to help keep the cost of fluoro down for me. As far as bleeding it does but not a concern. And if you reel it up tight on a reel no casting issues I use a wet cloth pulling against the reel while loading up.

The breaking strength and diameter seemed about right and I didn't see any obvious defects in the line.
And yes it does glow a little under black light, just because it's white, not because it has any special uv reflective properties. By that I mean it did glow a little but nowhere near as much as my white t-shirt, or the lint in my tackle bag etc... With my nice but not super powerful headlamp I could see maybe a yard past my second foot rod, but that last foot or two was very dim, kinda like trying to see regular clear mono line on a cloudy afternoon, you can see it if you squint and focus bit, but at least for me, I wouldn't notice some subtle jump in the line. And that was my main interest. I don't think it's any easier to see then any random yellow or blue high viz line and with a headlamp, in fact, maybe less.
All of that would be fine but this was much less sensitive then the other superlinws lines I've used, and shockingly little less sensitive then my go to budget mono line.
So you can tell I don't really like it. I'll never buy more in fact I stripped off what I had and just put on some big game. If you need braid there are other uv ones that people say they like but I'd probably just get yellow. Or if you need uv there are a lot of really good mono opinions
