Customers are mixed about the adhesion of the tape. Some mention that it sticks well, stays on very tight, and has a strong hold, while others say that it doesn't hold after three washings, doesn' t even hold up on the wash on a gentle cycle, and only sticks on 1 side.

Customers are mixed about the value of the adhesive tape. Some mention it's a good price, while others say it'll be a waste of money. The tape only sticks on one side and is useless. Some customers also say the product received was a cheap IKEA brand hemming tape, with the webbing so far apart. The product could not hold it and let go after a couple washes.

I bought this to hem some work pants. The hem on the bottom came loose but I didn't know how to sew them so I tried this. It was VERY easy. I just cut a piece to fit and ironed it for about a minute and I was done. I have washed the pants a few times now and it is holding place. It comes with quite a bit so even if it does come undone in the future I have plenty left and it only took a minute to do.
I am a guy that is looking for the easy way out. I needed to have two pairs of work pants hemmed. I did not want to bring them to a Taylor or Dry Cleaner (who usually has a person to sew minor stuff). I actually know how to sew. Not great but I can at least sew in approximately a straight line. I hemmed up both pants 3 inches shorter (the store did not have my length). But I did not want to cut the extra fabric off. And wasn't sure how to tack it up so I don't catch the extra when slipping on my pants. So I searched for a solution. I had once used a regular iron-on patch but it looked awful. I found this product on Amazon. When it arrived I was skeptical because the tape was so very thin, less than the thickness of a sheet of paper. I pushed forward and tucked piece of the tape; a few inches long, in between fabric that I wanted glued. I pressed the iron on a few seconds and it was done. The tape seemed to get absorbed into the fabric. The bond was solid.
So now I am a fan of this stuff.
I do have one warning which is the reason for only 4 stars but it should have gotten 5!
Never keep the roll of this Iron on Hemming Tape near the iron!
I place the iron down after finishing a hem, but never noticed that it touched ever so slightly the tape. Well, the heat from the iron plate melted the roll at one end. Making the whole roll (what was left) unusable. I could use the section that wasn't melted but it will only allow a piece of tape 2 inches at a time.
Ok, it was my fault but I wanted to warn others just to be careful.
I will just order another roll, because I want to have it handy.
Hemmed drapes covering my sliding glass door. Didn’t cut them, just turned up about 2 inches and ironed the tape on. Looks great, not bulky, and done in 10 minutes. So much easier than pulling out the sewing machine.
