I'm really lazy when it comes to having to paint my nails, mostly due to them chipping in a day or two. Or the paint shrinks and peels off of my nails soon after painting. So I looked around and found recommendations for this on a nail care Reddit. Polish can shrink, peel or chip easily due to the oils on your nails interfering with a good bond when you apply your polish. This lays down a rubber bond so the polish has something to adhere to for the best bond and covers up those natural oils. You only need one thin coat of the bonder and it dries very fast. My manicure can last up to a week with careful use of my hands, ie. no gardening or housecleaning without gloves. I try to use a higher quality nail polish as well for the best results. I've had good luck so far with Essie polish. I will say don't use this to the cuticle line as it will tear up your nails since they don't get a chance to breathe while growing. The picture is of Essie's "Eternal Optimist". Lasted almost 7 days.
From One Nail Addict to Another.....you need this in your life! I switched from wearing Dashing Diva Nail Wraps to wearing cheap nail wraps but they wouldn't stay but a few hours until I started using Orly Nail Bonder Nail Treatment as a base coat. I'm so grateful that I purchased this product! Thank you so very much and don't ever quit making it.
Use this base coat in every single manicure. That’s 6-10 manis a month. Love it, buy it. If you are a lacquer lover it’s a must have. Double sided sticky tape for the nail. Just be careful what sellers you get it from. This one was a good one.
I love the tacky feel of this as it grips the nail polish. While it's a bit tacky, the polish glides on smoothly and comes off easily when you're done. I've been using it for years and wouldn't use anything else.

My nailpolish would peel off sometimes the whole nail! My friend suggested this product and it really helps but from what I understand it doesn't work well with Seche top and base coat so I don't use that combination.
It really dries fast and helps even old polish stick on well... HOWEVER, I feel like it doesn't work well with the Seche Vite fast drying top coat. My manicure started peeling off! I feel like it's due to the top coat (many do complain that it shrinks and pulls away from the nail) but I'm not sure yet. But I like how it makes my nails feels and I feel like it can extend the life of regular nail polish.
