But if you read it and let it in your heart and soul, you will grow into much more than you will ever be as who you were someone of great hope.
Before I began reading this book again I said to myself, "this book is reminding you how powerful you are and it's showing you what you know to be true for you." As you read each page, notice how the same message is being conveyed but in varying ways.
The proper use of your mind is your Source of Power. Not money, not relationships, not what is seen or had in the world. Your mind is the maker and the cultivator of these experiences. It's the orchestrator of good and bad. Tend to the mind for the physical expression of your desires. See it in mind if you desire to see it in the physical world.
My favorite chapters were:
1 Effect of Thought of Circumstances
2 Effect of Thought on Health and Body (so enlightened)
3 Thought and Purpose
What I like is this book focuses on the subconscious mind, really how the mind affects the body. This has been a very helpful read.
The reason that I rated this 4 stars is because I would like to have seen more information.
One more thing, this is a public domain book that was adapted for Kindle. This is great because I like to keep it on my tablet.
While there are so many books available on positive thinking, the majority of them make the subject more complicated than it needs to be. James Allen has managed to provide all that one needs to know about the power of positive thinking, but does so in a book that can be read in less than an hour.
The difference between this book and others, is that the brevity of this ones enables you to read it over and over again. Personally, I read it a few times a year and have found it to be the most useful book I've encountered on the subject of our thoughts and how important they are. We can choose to be happy or we can choose to be sad. If you read and follow the simple advice in this book, you'll be the former. Although written long ago and containing some archaic language, the message put forth throughout the book is loud and clear. Our thoughts are what we are. You could not find a better book on the subject.
Reading my way through the ancient attitudes, I was able to translate or equate some of the advice and experience to today’s models. Some gems of advice and information are available but the reader must wade through so much to find them. The language is old and slows the read-through.
If you are a fan of old “original” thinking, then this book might interest you. I found it too difficult to quickly interpret words, phrases and meanings into today’s thinking. Simpler ways to say things exist today.

Highly recommended to the young people out there who feels lost and unguided.
