I bought this as a decorative item to hold corks and dress up my bar area. It's exactly what I had envisioned. I have it paired with a massive (but alas, empty) wine bottle and the two are a great conversation starter. I usually joke that the doctors say two glasses of wine a day is good for us but didn't mention the size of that glass... :-)
If hosting a cocktail or wine party, this makes a great centerpiece filled with cut flowers. It also looks really pretty filled with Christmas balls and a strand or two of battery lit LED lights. And if you happened to like wine AND gardening, it would make a stunning terrarium.
This was a personal purchase that I had saved in my cart for some time. It was a 'treat' item for myself and I'm very pleased with it.

Never Be Sober Again!!!
I got this for my boyfriend as a Chanukah gift so that he would stop drinking straight from the bottle. Finally, a glass that he can fill with enough white zinfandel to get through breakfast! No other glass was large enough to hold the four bottles he drinks for breakfast every day-and it's SO annoying to have to continuously switch bottles or refill glasses. Still haven't found a glass to hold the 8 bottles of Arbor Mist Blackberry Merlot that he drinks for dinner, but this is at least a start. The glass itself is quite hefty and thick, yet functional and refined. It's perfect for the laziest of alcoholics-those who still want to get the best taste and aromatics out of their wine and stay classy. Cheers!
