This album is incredible. I saw these guys live in Arlington Heights and the technical spot-on Lamb of God-esque riffs blew me away. I checked out the album and each song is incredibly well structured. The guitars are technical and the music is unrelenting as the drummer is ferociouis. The vocalist has the perfect voice for thrash. There isn't a bad song on the album and the solos are sweeping and technical.
I've been championing this band since I first saw them performing at an elementary school gymnasium back in 2009 while opening for Lazarus A.D. Nearly seven years later, it's been a long road to finding a label home and getting BURIED IN VIOLENCE out to the masses, but it's an album well-worth the wait. If you dig PANTERA, DevilDriver, Lamb of God, Chimaira, etc. - PRODUCT OF HATE should be on your Top 10 list for 2016.
Yes the band sounds like Lamb Of God, but it's not a bad thing. A lot of reviewers complain that they are a clone, and while they do resemble them a LOT. They still have their own type of sound. A little cleaner in the production area, the riffs are a little more melodic. And the singer doesn't quite do Randy Blythe the whole time. He adds his own ingredients. Also sings a few slightly "clean" choruses. But if you are a fan of the last few LOG albums since Sacrement, this will definitely please you. Along with a kind of fresh younger sound. So it's not a bad thing they sound like LOG. Also they have quite a few more solos.
Groovig, riffig, agressiv, fett produziert, und gute Soli sind auch verbastelt worden. Product of Hate debütieren mit "Buried in Violence" meiner Meinung nach absolut erstklassig. Jeder Song Moshpitfutter! Abwechselnd räudig keifendes Geshoute bzw. brutales Gegrowle am Micro und kreative Saitenzupfer an den Gitarren und am Bass, und ein schneller Ballermann in der Schießbude ergeben die erste Thrashüberraschung 2016. Für fünf Sterne müsste man noch ein bisschen Innovation beimischen und / oder vielleicht mal ein oder zwei Genres weit über den Tellerrand hinausschauen und sich dort mit frischen Ideen versorgen. Bester Track? Buried in Violence, der Titeltrack, oder Monster, da bin ich noch unschlüssig! Das Album hält allerdings über die komplette Spielzeit das was es ab dem ersten Takt verspricht - Vollgas Thrash ohne Gnade auf die Fresse!! Ach ja Ozzys Perry Mason wurde als Closer cecovert!
