Written in the 3rd person with detailed sexual encounter and some adult language. Well edited, I didn't notice any errors. Slightly different than the rest in the series because of the third pov from Alyssa's father, it was a second couple getting together in an already short story.

Alyssa is immature, there is no way to say it otherwise. She ran away from her father and her 'mate' without explanations leaving all to worry about her. Reece handled things wrong and was 'punished' for it. a simple conversation could have solved everything without all the heartache but then there wouldn't be a story. I like the glance in the future at the end, knowing everyone is happy.

To Catch His Mate is the fifth book in the novella Crescent Moon series. Although I enjoyed this book, it did seem even shorter than some of the others in the series.

I adored Reece and thought he was a great guy. He saw Alyssa and immediately made plans to meet and get to know her. When Reece says something he didn’t mean, he never hesitates to take responsibility and make it right. Alyssa was younger and more innocent. She had a reason to be hurt and I was glad she allowed Reece to fix things.

I enjoyed this short story of Reece and Alyssa. Reece made a bad decision in not standing up for his real feelings for his intended mate. Because of this, he must prove to Alyssa that she means more to him than the treaty between their clans. And of course the possessive alpha male does it right and wins back his mate. There was also a side story with Alyssa's father, I wish he would have got his own book.
