I love this book. It was gifted to me at the start of my first pregnancy and I thoroughly enjoyed having this prayer guide to go through as I experienced the ups and downs of my first pregnancy. The author hits every point. She educates you on what your body is doing or how your baby is growing at the different stages of your pregnancy. She is encouraging and offers a variety of ways to pray for your child before they even arrive. It helped me spiritually to begin praying for my child before their birth and gave me prompts I continue to use today to pray for my now two kids, five years after receiving the book. I went through it through my second pregnancy as well. And the Lord was faithful to meet me in that time of prayer and covering as well.

I now send this book to all my friends and families who are just starting out.

I am very grateful for this prayer guide.

- A Mother's prayer for the week
- Journal Questions (with Journaling Space)

I think everyone will use the book differently, but I read the weekly entry as part of an extended devotional time on Sundays to help guide my thoughts for the week. I used the prayer portion through the week as a guide for my own personal prayer and starting place to explore the themes of the week. I read through the Journal thoughts and thought about them, but didn't journal on the items. I think in the future I'd use these questions in the personal journal / baby journal I keep. During the pregnancy I was journaling using the book "Love Letters to My Baby", so I didn't add any extra journaling time.

The best part of the book is that it was a great tool God used to take me on a journey toward growing closer to Him, while praying for and praising Him for the privilege of having a child. I really enjoyed the journey and felt it added spiritual depth to my pregnancy that I wouldn't have wanted to miss out on.

Talk about transformational. These weekly prayers and scriptures to pray over my child while pregnant revolutionized my first pregnancy and now my second. With the world and other books (what to expect) scattering your thoughts with all that could go wrong, this book is all about reminding you the power of prayer. Having a specific prayer to pray over my child coinciding with his/her development that week is beyond empowering, and encouraging too!

There are character traits and even physical traits I see in my son that I KNOW are a direct result of things I was encouraged to pray for through this book. I am forever blessed by this tool.

This is my go-to book when pregnant and the best gift I've ever been able to give another new mom-to-be.
