Wonderful set of sturdy, good-looking and practical cups with all the bells and whistles

This is a wonderful set. It feels very sturdy and nicely made from one piece of metal. They stack nicely into each other for easy storage. The bottoms are flat and the weight is well distributed, so they won't tip over if you leave them on the counter. The bottom is also slightly rounded, which makes it easier to get sticky ingredients (like shortening or butter) out of the cup and not have to scoop it out of the sharp corners. The little pouring lip is very handy for precise pouring of liquids without spilling and splashing around. The handles feel very comfortable, they have a little indent on it, which makes it a perfect fit for the fingers. The handle also has a permanent etching of the size and value in mL. Finally, there are size etchings on the side of each cup, marking some of the smaller cups, making it easy to use just one size to measure various sizes. These etchings are on the outside but show also on the inner side. Being steel, they are also a lot easier to clean than the plastic ones. And they even have a little lip on the side opposite to the handle, which could come in handy.

These are a very nice replacement for our old broken plastic cups.

I bought these measuring cups for my wife when I noticed that her previous ones were plastic and partially melted and misshapen from our old dishwasher or from being left too close to a burner on the stove by accident. They also didn't stack very easily or evenly, and the stamped measurements were faded and somewhat hard to read. she hates to spend money on such things, so she will keep using them forever it seems. So I looked around for something that would be better for her, more durable and yet easy to use, clean and store. I then saw the high rating on Amazon and bought the measuring cups, and my wife loves them! They are easy to use and clearly stamped. They are each made as a single piece, so there are no little seams or nooks and crannies for dried ingredients to get stuck in. They are very easy to clean, incredibly durable, and dishwasher safe, even if you have a dishwasher with a heating element in the bottom -- you can put them anywhere in your dishwasher -- and they dry easily in your dishwasher if you put them in with the bottoms up. They also stack evenly because of the little tabs on the front of each one. These are just some of the things my wife has told me she likes about them.

I also think the price is outstanding for a product that is likely to last the rest of our lives, and they were ordered and shipped without incident. I couldn't recommend them any more highly. If your wife likes to cook and bake like my wife does, you could surprise her with a simple gift out of the blue like I did, just to make her life a little better by making something she loves to do even more enjoyable. I do a lot of baking from scratch and good measuring cups are very important to me. I was tired of the letters wearing off of my “plastic” measuring cups and also wanted measuring cups that were BPA free. After extensive research I decided on this KitchenMade set and I’m glad I did! My wife and I have been married for 25 years, and gone through multiple sets of the dollar store plastic measuring cups. It was time for an upgrade, and I'm very pleased with these!

These cups are a pleasure to work with. Stainless steel is great for cleaning. A nice, level edge all around for scraping the excess off or get precise measurements. Easy to stack in a nice, compact footprint in your drawer with holes in the handle for a ring if you want to keep them together. As an added bonus, each cup has interim measurements on the side if you don't want to dirty another cup... Great little design feature.

I also really like that the measurements are etched into the metal... No more rewriting the sizes after the ink washes off in the dishwasher. Nice touch.

The only criticism I have of this set is really a personal preference: the handles are short. This makes them easy to store, but isn't always the easiest for digging into deep containers. I don't mind this, but some may find this annoying.

All in all, a great purchase and great service. I'd buy another set if I needed them, but I think these will get me through the next 25 years. :)

I love these measuring cups!

My old set of cups had all their handles break off over time, so my main criteria in shopping for a new set was that the handle and cup be one integrated piece.
After looking at all the great reviews, I went ahead and ordered them.
Wow! They are everything I need in a measuring cup set.

Because I was so focused on an integrated handle during my search, I hadn't given any thought to the length.
Upon use, I appreciate the shorter length, as it allows the cups to sit on the counter with more stability - especially important for liquids - yet, it's very easy to scoop up dry goods!
Storing them is easier too, because of the stability.
Longer handles are better suited for measuring spoons; needed for reaching into spice bottles.
Shorter handles work better for on measuring cups.

I love how they're embossed with both metric & traditional measurements.
Also wonderful is having additional measurements within each cup, so I can occasionally use the same cup for additional foods or liquids Less washing!
The spout is great too!

I'm quite sure this will be the last set I buy.
This would be an awesome gift for a special person who loves to be in the kitchen!

Habe mir diese Becher bestelltl auf grund der Tatsache das ich gerne und viel koche. Mir war es lästig immer 5-6 Schalen oder Schüsseln suchen zu müssen, wo ich die einzelnen Zutaten die ich benötige, unterbringen kann. Zudem hat es mich genervt immer wieder eine Köchenwaage dazu zu nutzen. Diese Becher haben all das mit einem mal ersetzt. Ich bin begeistert und das Kochen macht doppelt Spaß. Vorallem steht die Arbeitsplatte nicht mehr so voll mit Schalen wo Zutaten enthalten sind.

Ich würde mir diese Becher wieder bestellen.

I was asked to see if I could find measuring cups that were stainless and didn't have handles that were welded to the cup.

After a bit of searching I found these on Amazon and they seemed to fit the bill. Maybe a bit expensive I thought so I searched around some more. After a bit of wasted time I came back to these and all the positive reviews and decided to order them.

Let's just say I made the right choice. These are great measuring cups, the weight alone makes you realize that these are quality. The one piece design is great - no worries about handles falling off. They nest inside one another perfectly. The number of cups is great, seems like we typically have 4 sizes in a set but this set has more! The embossed measurements which are visible on the inside and out are great.

I honestly don't know if there is any flaw with these cups.
