Great little kettle for motorcycle camping

Great little kettle for motorcycle camping
Pros:- Very sturdy stainless-steel construction.- Just the right size for a mug of coffee and either a bowl of oatmeal or a Mountain House meal. Note that actual volume when filling to the bottom of the spout is about 27 oz (800 ml); 1 quart (32 oz) is the total volume. - I love that the 4.6-in wide mouth is big enough to allow my CAMPINGMOON remote-cannister gas stove to nest inside the kettle, and the kettle nests inside my MSI Bugaboo Camper cookware (with the cup/bowls removed).- Smooth drip-free pouring.- No melty bits, so it can be used on an open fire.- Cute factor is through the roof. I chuckled a little when I first unpacked it.Cons:- The bare metal handle gets hot, so I use a tiny silicone potholder to keep from burning my fingers.- The lid is not held in place by friction, so be careful it does not fall on your hand when tilting the kettle to get out the last bit of water.- Backpackers might chose a lighter kettle.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hot water a plenty
Reviewed in the United States on January 24, 2023
The GSI kettle is perfect for camping. It transitions from a burner to a hot tent stove to the firepit without warping or any other issues. Water boils quickly and is easy to pour. The kettle holds up to rough packing in canoes and hiking packs or just being tossing in the back of the truck. It goes on every camping trip, which can't be said for some of my other gear.
