Versatile - Sculpey Air Dry Procelain™ clay is a versatile medium that is perfect for more experienced crafters and makers. This clay is perfect for making realistic looking flowers, dolls and intricate jewelry. Air Dry Clay - Sculpey clay conforms to ASTM D-4236 and EN 71 safety standards and is non-toxic . Simply make your air dry clay creation and let dry for 24 hours. After it is dry, it can be sanded, drilled, carved and painted with water-based acrylic paints. Smoother, finer, and less sticky than earthen clay.  Here are some tips for working with Air Dry Clay: Only remove the amount of clay you need and put the rest in an air tight container to use for next time, use water to join two pieces together, knead the clay before shaping into your project and work on a non porous surface like metal, ceramic, glass or the Sculpey work mat. Fun creativity - This air clay is perfect for artists to take their creations to the next level without using an oven! This clay is smooth and will not crack making it perfect for fine detail work. Comes in one color - White,which allows you to add another layer of creativity by painting your creations once they are fully air dried.

I've been sculpting in fired clay for a few years and the one thing I deal w/ is the weight of pieces and how brittle it is before it's fired, as well as how hard it is to ship heavy and intricate pieces. So I've wanted dto experiment with cold porcelain as well as other air dry clays to see what they offer. Using both of them right now, I find this far easier to work with with its more gummy and gooey texture. It sticks easier to armatures than the regular air dry clays do. It feels stronger too and less brittle. I like this stuff so far. Thumbs up!

They Saran Wrap the clay and it sticks to the plastic like crazy. You’ll always lose a few ounces of it just by it being stuckto that nonsense. Takes about an hour per 1/4 inch of thickness to dry and dries to a relatively hard and durable finish. But thin stuff is more flexible.
