This bare copper wire is suitable for use in crafts or for electrical grounding wire use. This single-strand wire is annealed for improved ductility and meets QQ-W-343 standards for uninsulated copper wire. It also meets ASTM B3 standards for annealed copper wire and complies with Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) regulations. This copper wire is suitable for use in crafts such as jewelry and weaving or for uninsulated wiring applications.

I'm giving it a 4 star only because i recieved the wrong gauge of wire.Overall, i love this copper wire, just needed the size i ordered.I ordered 22 gauge and recieved 18 gauge.Theres a sticker for 22 gauge wire stuck over the original label so i peeled it back and it says 18 gauge on the label underneath.I've been using this brand of copper wire for years and it is really nice wire for making wire wrapped jewelry.It darkens nicely in liver of sulphur to create an antique look.

The same seller lets the shopper select all gauges from the same page. If you use copper, make your own jump rings, head pins and eye pins, etc., and wrap a lot, this is the way to go.
