and I think its a super value. Works great
I bought this just under a year ago, and I think its a super value. Works great, reasonably priced, no way was I going to spend $2000 for some fancy schmanzy treadmill, since I wasn't even sure I would like it. I was a bit concerned before receiving it about the small-ish 16" by 50" walking belt, but I have found this to be no problem whatsoever. I'm 5'11" and 180 lbs, never hit the edges or fallen off the back...It did come in a large, heavy box (tip - if you're worried about shipping damage, spring for the $30 overnight FedEx, it will spend less time in transit and will be handled more carefully...) but it was easy to assemble. All of the bolts fit perfectly, I'm not sure why some people seemed to have difficulty, perhaps they were cross threading them? The only odd thing about assembly was that there was a piece of black painted plywood about a foot square in the box that was not mentioned anywhere in the manual. Seems like kind of heavy duty for packing material, but I guess that's what it was.I put about 3.5 miles a day on this thing (an hour at 3.5 MPH), virtually every day, so I've gone over a thousand miles on it, and it still works just fine. I've literally sanded the bottoms off of a pair of sneakers on it... The only minor issue was that recently the drive belt from the motor to the walking belt started slipping for a second or two on startup, making a shrieking noise. Opening the unit is a snap (5 screws, without turning it over or anything) , and the motor and drive system inside are well thought out and sturdy. The drive belt was a tiny bit loose, which was easily solved by loosening two bolts on the motor bracket, swinging the motor out a fraction of an inch, and re-tightening the bolts. Slippage is gone, and it works just like new, after over a thousand miles! While I had it open I checked the motor and control electronics' heatsink after an hour of use, both were cool to the touch, eliminating any worry about the unit failing due to overheating. It seems to be very well built (especially for the price) which was good to see. The manual has a complete parts list, so if anything ever does need to be replaced it should be a quick and painless procedure. In summary, I feel that I got my money's worth (or more!). The treadmill is fun to use and has been virtually trouble free after a thousand+ miles. It's a great way to exercise, especially with a TV & Netflix to pass the time without any boredom!

This treadmill and I got off to a bad start. Amazon shipped it so poorly that it arrived at the carrier with a damaged box. It was supposed to be delivered in 2 days through Amazon Prime, and they ended up delivering it a week later after going through a package inspection at the carrier. The assembly instructions are simple enough. The hard part is getting a couple of the screws in place. The metal just doesn't want to line up well, and that is why they suggest a second person to assist. I did have to "cry uncle" and get help lining the screw holes up, but after that it was easy enough, and didn't take me long. After I went through all that, I noticed that there was a crack in the casing that covers the front end of the treadmill at the bottom, due I guess to the poor way it was packaged. At this point, after all the effort of putting it together (and not looking forward to figuring out how to ship it back in that poor excuse of a box they shipped it in), I decided to just Gorilla Glue the thing and forget about it. It doesn't appear to be a major structural thing, and is holding well so far. That being said, the machine itself runs very well. You can choose to set your own pace by picking how fast you want to walk (3 mph, for example), and can increase or decrease the speed in increments while you walk. Or, if you choose, you can pick one of the pre-set weight loss programs they offer. These have pre-set time and speed. For example, I believe the first one starts out at something like 2.5 mph for 1 minute, then 2.8 for 2 minutes, then 3.0 for 2 minutes, then back to 2.8, then back to 3.0, etc., doing this throughout the timed program, and ending up back at 2.5 miles per hour. The walking area is plenty roomy, and it is not overly noisy. Some people said they have trouble reading the numbers, but I do not. You have to peel the plastic cover off of it first. As long as you have sufficient lighting, you will be able to see it just fine. I wish the handles were a little longer, and had something other than a slick surface to them, but that is just personal preference. This is not a $1500 machine, and you can't expect it to perform like one. I have no complaints, other than Amazon's shipping of it. The machine itself seems to work very well, and I would recommend it for anyone that wants a good quality machine without a lot of bells & whistles.

Great treadmill for the price. Not a super fancy UI but you don't really need it. Everything works, wasn't too hard to put together, has a few weight loss and endurance training programs, and you can either walk, or run fairly fast.

The ability to run on this treadmill is what really grabbed me as alot of the treadmills available on Amazon weren't clear as to if they were walking treadmills only.
