About this item

  • THE ORIGINAL PREMIUM PREMIUM PASTURE RAISED LARD: This was the first nationally sold Non-Hydrogenated, Preservative Free, Pasture Raised Pork Lard. Sourced exclusively from sustainable and regenerative U.S. Small Family Farms. Crafted for fat-loving chefs, Keto, Paleo, WAP, AIP followers and especially for those that value quality above all. Artisanally rendered small kettles for (and by) fat-fanatics. Use as the perfect substitute to industrialized seed oils and cheap, inhumanely sourced lards.
  • PRAISE THE LARD: Delicious and versatile cooking fat that is perfect for sautéing, roasting, frying and baking. Lift your homesteader style cooking or KETO, PALEO, WAP, AIP and WHOLE30 cooking to new levels, or use it as a natural shortening for incredible baking. We suggest roasted veggies and greens, authentic tortillas, re-fried beans, fried chicken, pies, traditional biscuits, confit, marinades and dressings. Makes the perfect lard for the homesteader or traditional lard soap maker.
  • USDA CERTIFIED AND TESTED: 100% USDA Certified Pasture Raised Pork Lard. No artificial ingredients, no added hormones, no preservatives, and no antibiotics. We add .%01 Organic Rosemary Extract, a natural antioxidant to meet the strict USDA Lard standards. Lard companies not under USDA inspection do not have freshness protocol, standards or tests and can sell fats with unsafe peroxide levels, something that Fatworks will never do as we are about healthy fats above all.
  • SATISFACTION GUARANTEED: As the standard-bearers of the Premium Lard category, we take our roles as the "Defenders of Fat" quite seriously. While Amazon does not allow you to RETURN your product for safety reasons, we are able to offer a full REFUND. If you receive a broken jar, or are not completely satisfied with your Fatworks product, let us know and we will replace or REFUND our order. The guarantee is valid provided the purchase was made with Fatworks as the seller on Amazon.

So delicious
5 Stars
So delicious
I have finished two jars of the pork lard and about half of the beef tallow. Chemically processed seed/vegetable oils are unhealthy and more research has come out to prove that they are not the healthy fat that the chemists wanted you to think they are. However, these all natural delicious animal fats by FATWORKS are easy to use and store for frying, making piecrust, etc. Never going back to artificial oils again.
