Product Description

Product Description

The product that started it all. Original Gorilla Glue built a name for itself with its incredible, industrial holding power and versatility. The water activated polyurethane formula expands into materials to form an incredibly strong bond to virtually anything making Gorilla Glue your solution for almost any project or repair.

Directions:
All surfaces must be clean and tight fitting. Wear gloves to avoid skin contact. Gorilla Glue will stain skin and ruin clothes.

1. Damp It: Gorilla Glue is cured with moisture. Lightly dampen one surface with water. For non-porous surfaces (glass & metal) and dense hardwoods, scratch up surfaces first and lightly dampen both surfaces prior to gluing. Do not add water to bottle.
2. Glue It: Spread a thin layer of glue on other surface. Do not over-apply glue. Gorilla Glue will foam 3 to 4 times in volume.
3. Clamp It: Clamp objects together for 1-2 hours. You can use heavy objects to achieve clamping pressure. Strength of bond line improves with better clamping. Full cure in 24 hours

Storage: After each use, wipe nozzle clean with a dry cloth and tightly replace lid. For bottle sizes 4 oz. and larger, we suggest squeezing excess air out of the bottle. While still squeezing, tightly replace the cap and then store in a cool, dry place. This helps eliminate moisture in the bottle. Store in a cool, dry place. Store away from children and animals.

The glue bonds well, but takes forever to bond. This makes it very difficult to use for certain projects that you can't clamp with weight, and you can rely on holding something down with your own hands or another item because the glue expands and gets everywhere. It's relatively easy to clean off skin, but it leaves a sticky sensation for hours afterwards. Very difficult to clean off of projects, as it tends to just be spread, or get other things stuck to your ite s in the rare occasion it bonds quickly. Because there's no option for a smaller or skinnier nozzle, it makes it a bit difficult for projects involving smaller pieces as it's hard to spread a very thin layer. I am currently using it to assemble a resin kit, and will have picture examples of both the good and the bad to post when it is completed.Update: So far with ever project I've worked on with this glue has either expanded and bubbled in the worst, most visible spots possible, or ruined the paint, or bonded incorrectly, resulting in a piece leaning a bit further than it should. Every gap caused by this is of course covered with a sickly yellow goop. On top of that, I'm going to have to waste MORE money buying my usual gorilla super glue(that, by the way, I can never get to the end of a bottle because it dries up halfway through) in order to assemble the wire cage dress on my second project.
