"It's a nice enough product and tasty, but it doesn't have enough maple "oomf" to really stand out when used as a sweetener...." Read more
I love sugar and I love maple syrup. When I discovered this product, I was delighted at the delicious flavor it added to whatever I was eating. For example, one of my favorite things for breakfast is a warm bowl of oatmeal. Oatmeal is good alone but it is even better with a spoonful of this maple sugar. While the oatmeal is still hot, I add some of this sugar and the heat melts it and makes it taste like maple syrup. It is a wonderful way to wake up. There are so many other uses for this. The list is unlimited. It might be expensive but it is well worth it to me.
Good stuff. I'm using it in the brine for my homemade bacon and it's the Bomb. Adds just a touch of additional maple flavor to some killer pork belly bacon. I will buy again!

It's a nice enough product and tasty, but it doesn't have enough maple "oomf" to really stand out when used as a sweetener. They should probobly make this with late season syrup to give it a bit more flavor. It's nice, don't get me wrong, but I feel like I bought very expensive sugar. Won't buy again.
I don't like "pure maple sugar" - it's usually too sweet for me. I love this because I can taste maple on my steel cut oats, but because I just sprinkle a little bit on, it isn't too sweet for me. I also love that it's organic. Thanks! I hope this is helpful.
A great product and I need less of this than regular sugar and feel better about using it instead! I had purchased this from Coombs in syrup form and love their products and pricing!
