Made our whole stash from these!
Breakdown of how I rate:*1 star – Please don’t waste your money this thing really isn’t worth the hassle of opening the package it came in**2 stars – meh, I mean it was worth opening the box and its okayish for now but there’s a good chance that this thing is going to end up returned or, if I keep it, in the trash eventually***3 stars – ok, here’s where we get to the don’t love it don’t hate it part. This generally means it’s an okay product and it will serve its purpose but it’s really lacking something****4 stars – This thing is great! Has all the features I am looking for at a great price (talking about the full product price) and I will definitely be putting this thing to great use!*****5 stars – HOW DID I EVER LIVE WITHOUT THIS!!! Okay so maybe it’s not that serious but really, this thing gets daily use in my home with 2 adults, 2 kids, and a large housedog. It’s worth every penny paid and possibly more and there’s a pretty good chance I have already ordered a spare to keep on hand just in case!Love these diapers! They are our favorite brand/style we currently have 15 of these in varying colors and as any cloth diapering mama will tell you, there's always room for more!

These diapers are the best ones that we have found and we have tried a lot. My husband and I are new parents and don't know anyone who cloth diapered so we had originally bought a bunch different of cloth diapers. We bought prefolds and brand like thristies and best bottom. I really liked the idea of just changing the liner and reusing the shell, but when we actually had our baby and had to change his diaper we found out that most diaper changes needed to have the shell changed as well also that the shell diapers would leak during the night and my son would wake up soaking wet. I ran into a nanny who highly recommended bum genius for cloth diapering and so we bought one to try it out and it was so different from the others that we own. The other brands that we own feel cheap compared to the bum genius. These diapers are high quality and grow with the baby till they are ready to potty train. I sparingly use the other brands of diapers when the bum geniuses are in the wash and he is 6 months old now and the other brands of diapers barely fit him. He still has a lot of room to grow in the bum genius. we can still tighten the snaps on the diaper all the way and the diapers still fit and he is 16 pounds. When he was 2 months old he had a terrible, terrible nappy rash that wouldn't go away from prefolded diapers. We switched him from the prefolds to the bum genius and the rash went away akso with help from calendula oil. Compared to the other cloth diapers when these diapers are put on correctly they don't leak at all and he wakes up completely dry. I thought that I would be disappointed that I couldn't change the liner and keep the shell but it didn't bother me at all, actually I perfer type of diapering now. The insides are soft and he never gets a nappy rash. We own 15 of these diapers in all sorts of different colors. They are he best! If you are a new parent please don't waste your money and buy these diapers for your baby. They are worth the money.

Let me start by saying I am NOT a cloth diaper mama. I've had 5 babies and 3 other foster babies in my home over the past 8 years and I NEVER had the desire to clean pee and poop out of cloth inserts and covers and then put it all in my washing machine and do it all over again multiple times a day.
    That said...
    THESE DIAPERS CHANGED MY MIND!!!
I bought these initially because I was frustrated buying diapers/pull ups for my potty trained 2.5 year old who was still have nighttime accidents. He had quit pooping in his diapers so I thought it would be easy to use cloth at night time and I was a lot more comfortable with just cleaning out the pee. And then baby #5 was born and I decided around 4 months to start using these diapers with her occasionally and now I love them even more!!! Mostly because they save me money, but also because:

    1) There are no inserts to mess with. It's just all one big piece of diaper you fold however you need to. To me that's the most "genius" thing BumGenius has come up with!
    2) I love the snaps and how easy they are to adjust to any size (I can use them for my 6 month old and my 3 year old still sleeps in them sometimes too)
    3) Cute colors
    4) Easy to clean -- I just spray them out and throw them in the wash (a friend gave me a diaper sprayer and that is a godsend!)

    I will say a few negatives --
    1) I had one diaper of the same design except it was velcro and the velcro did not last long. I ended up throwing that one away because I had plenty with the snap design
    2) For a non-cloth diaper-er, I would invest in the diaper sprayer.
    3) I was not comfortable using these with my daughter until around 4 months. I tried them on her a few times before but I felt like the fit just didn't work.

I am a first-time mom, and my husband and I decided to give cloth diapers a try, both to save money and to be a bit more "green." We have a stash of 24 BumGenius Freetimes. We couldn't be happier with our decision. We transitioned to cloth once she was about 10 pounds. These diapers fit my daughter beautifully around her little waist and legs (and she's quite skinny), and we haven't had a single leak, even overnight. They are super absorbent. Our daughter is also rash-free. We spray the poopy ones and the overnight peed-on ones with a toilet sprayer and the Spray Pal shield (if you want to keep your toilet, floor, and self spray-free, I highly recommend them:  Spray Pal and Cloth Diaper Sprayer Bundle ), and into the diaper pail (with a reusable pail liner:  Planet Wise Reusable Diaper Pail Liner, Slate ) they go. They have held up great in the wash. We wash a hamper-full, including the pail liner, every 2 or 3 days, and they consistently come out completely stain-free. We hang them to dry (using a round octopus-shaped clothespin contraption that has come in very handy), and they take about a day. And if we're on the go, we just pop the dirty ones into a reusable wet bag if our daughter needs a change. Honestly, I can't understand why cloth diapering isn't more popular. If you're thinking about giving it a shot, I say go for it, and don't hesitate to use Freetimes.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love bumgenius, can get it cheaper elsewhere
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on December 21, 2014
Bumgenius - great nappies, way better than disposable, a bit more of a chunky butt on a newborn than disposables but still fits under a vest and a lot nicer for their bottoms - less redness less rashes, and less leaking.
Mirror colour - really nice soft turquoise colour, good unisex colour, looks a bit like bikini bottoms in this aqua colour!
Poppers - great, last longer than aplix
Buying bumgenius from amazon - you can get slightly better deals elsewhere, like if you buy several get them from the nappy lady website as you get discounts, if you get about ten they go down to around fifteen pounds.
Definitely get a bin and washable drawstring bin liner, you probably need at least 20 nappies to use them all the time. They take between 1 and two days to dry depending on how warm it is, radiators etc.

5.0 out of 5 stars A good night diaper option
Reviewed in India on September 25, 2014
This is an All in One diaper by Bumgenius. It has two layers of Microfiber soakers sewn in with suede for the skin facing sides. It works great for when I wear it at night as it keeps me dry till the morning. Then it goes straight into the washing machine. I am 5 months old and it works great for me. Unlike Bumgenius 4.0, you can't change the inserts so if you use it in the day; you still need to change it in 2-3 hours to avoid a diaper rash. Bumgenius has a similar version of this diaper called "Elemental" and it has natural cotton inserts instead of the man made fibers in this one. I can't wait to get my hands on the Elemental.
