Brilliantly Spectacular 4K UltraHD Presentation
I was nine when this came out, and only saw it in my teens, on an old cathode ray tube television. I saved this masterpiece of a treat for this brilliant presentation, which pairs the grittiness of its Chicago backdrop with brilliant specular highlights, using standard HDR providing brilliant light, and deep color. It's an amazing viewing experience, with an exceptional cast of the most talented stars, both musicians and industry icons make up this exciting story of Jake and Elwood Blues' and their commitment to fulfill their mission from God!The 4K scan is rich in detail. Whether viewing the darkness of the nights, alongside the colorfully bright neon signs, or touring through the gritty detail of downtown Chicago, while beams of sunlight peek through the towering skyscrapers, it is the most captivatingly beautiful presentation of The Blues Brothers available. Now is definitely the time to add The Blues Brothers to the home library.I watched this 4K UltraHD version on an OLED panel, paired with HDMI 1.3 era 5.1 audio. This movie is truly spectacular.I let the movie spill over inti the bonus features, and a couple features in I noticed my Pioneer Elite player, with the latest firmware, occasionally hiccuping, and I'm wondering if it's the disc. The movie played perfectly well.
