This soap is a staple in my household and has been for over 10 years.
I usually handwash items that I know the wash would destroy.
I wash sweaters, blouses, even some pants and my clothing would come out so fresh, clean, and bright.
The soap rinses out very well from my clothing and has an overall fresh smell. Nothing overbearing at all.
I usually try to keep at least 2-3 bars of this soap on hand, and they last pretty well, but of course it will depend on how often you use it. My skin is never irritated from this soap either because it is not heavily fragranced.

I want to say that this soap isn't only for clothes! I have psoriasis and I get letters sent to my inbox of new creams, soaps, etc, to try. So I seen Zote. Does have a light scent that you get with cleaning products, but I really like it and prefer it over that heavily fragranced nonsense I get with makeup products. That being said, if you need fragrance free this won’t do it for you.
